If you aren't in an area with roaming agreements, it's super simple to have your main number and a data eSIM from whatever country you are visiting. Until I traveled, I hated esims. Now, I'm pretty supportive of them. It sure beats trying to get a SIM from some sketchy vendor or trying to figure out the country's laws around cell plans.
