So which last version isn't fucked? I'm considering downloading it for posterity.
>>
>>107647697
Turns out the latest version allows you to disable autoupdate after all, so you can just go with that I guess. I personally preferred 7.8.6 due to nicer yaml formatting (I used it for .txt, and it doesn't seem like I can add indentation wrapping in custom languages feature like yaml has as it seems to be hardcoded).

subtle psyop thread where "real men" smoke cigars and partake in "organic discussions" about "real watches for serious grown ups who have jobs and drink whiskey"
the grown-up committee has decided that if only care about having time on your wrist for 10 years - you're a child and no woman will ever talk to you, please refer to these criteria:
band: leather or metal
face: must have hands
amount: at least 5, for different occasions
most importantly, price: at least $150

If I was doing shady shit I'd use a $99 break action 12 gauge and a knockoff Amazon uniform. No ballistics/rifling, no shell casings left behind.
There was a guy in Minnesota going around to registered sex offenders' homes posing as a delivery driver that needed a signature. When the diddler would answer the door he'd shoot them with a sawed off double barrel shotgun and walk away. They never caught him, they just quit publicizing the murders in the press and he eventually stopped doing it.

Assuming these spastics can operate a file or interact with normals well enough to facilitate a beer-shotgun trade. Most likely they blow $1,400 on 3D printer shit and get busted by Palantir pre-crime or find out the hard way you can't make plastic barrels.

Access
90% of doing something is having access to the thing. It's why I collect power tools, why I own a car, why I own anything. If I don't have the entire GameCube collection at my fingertips then when I suddenly have the urge to play Giftpia I won't be able to because in the 5 minutes it takes to download the game I'll have opened a wikipedia tab and started studying pre-zoroastrian religion.
>>
>>107641451
So what? Benefiting from only 1% of your archive is better than wanting something and not having access to it.
By your logic, you shouldn't keep backups if you only end up needing and restoring 1% of your files.

I read it. Poster is defending qanonsense, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yqfvka7QDO4

the poster is making the core claims:
1) leftist and jews have underdeveloped emotional brain regions
2) this makes them hate cuteness
3) hating cuteness makes them want to go full qanon satanist and harm children
4) watching cute anime girls is a sign of being righteous
5) we need to make memes about cuteness to weed out those jew and leftist evil doers

Meanwhile back in reality we know the overwhelming vast majority of jews and leftist do not rape and torture children. The only interesting thing to extract from this post is why some people are repulsed by cuteness.

>>
>>107648385
So that's why 4.7 is kinda sucky
>>
>>107648398
GLM-4.7 is coming with the following features:

Core Coding: GLM-4.7 brings clear gains, compared to its predecessor GLM-4.6, in multilingual agentic coding and terminal-based tasks, including (73.8%, +5.8%) on SWE-bench, (66.7%, +12.9%) on SWE-bench Multilingual, and (41%, +16.5%) on Terminal Bench 2.0. GLM-4.7 also supports thinking before acting, with significant improvements on complex tasks in mainstream agent frameworks such as Claude Code, Kilo Code, Cline, and Roo Code.
Vibe Coding: GLM-4.7 takes a major step forward in UI quality. It produces cleaner, more modern webpages and generates better-looking slides with more accurate layout and sizing.
Tool Using: GLM-4.7 achieves significantly improvements in Tool using. Significant better performances can be seen on benchmarks such as τ^2-Bench and on web browsing via BrowseComp.
Complex Reasoning: GLM-4.7 delivers a substantial boost in mathematical and reasoning capabilities, achieving (42.8%, +12.4%) on the HLE (Humanity’s Last Exam) benchmark compared to GLM-4.6.

GLM-4.7 enhances Interleaved Thinking, a feature introduced since GLM-4.5, and further introduces Preserved Thinking and Turn-level Thinking. By thinking between actions and staying consistent across turns, it makes complex tasks more stable and more controllable:

Interleaved Thinking: GLM-4.7 thinks before every response and tool calling, improving instruction following and the quality of generation.
Preserved Thinking: In coding agent scenarios, GLM-4.7 automatically retains all thinking blocks across multi-turn conversations, reusing the existing reasoning instead of re-deriving from scratch. This reduces information loss and inconsistencies, and is well-suited for long-horizon, complex tasks.
Turn-level Thinking: GLM-4.7 supports per-turn control over reasoning within a session—disable thinking for lightweight requests to reduce latency/cost, enable it for complex tasks to improve accuracy and stability.
