Every iPhone app to scan or find Bluetooth devices is just a long list of "unnamed" or otherwise unknown Bluetooth devices around me with no helpful info like Mac addresses. The whole point is for me to find out what all those unnamed and unknown devices are. I don't care about lost Bluetooth devices because I try not to have any of them.I hate Bluetooth and am trying to get rid of all Bluetooth devices in my vicinity. Is there a physical Bluetooth scanner device I could buy?

>>107738449>Is it usable in practice?I like the concept., buuuuuut...Last time I checked, it doesn't have sound, which makes this distro not suitable for gaming, video nor music. >>107745270>Last time I checked, it doesn't have sound, which makes this distro not suitable for gaming, video nor music. Has this changed?you can configure PCI passthrough to gaym on Qubes. if you have another GPU you pass that to your gaming VM and you should get video out as well as HDMI audio (I think, not 100% sure).

>>107745111I don't know if I'd call that a "proper" deinterlacer but it's one of the most popular methods known as Yadif 2x.
To really do it "right" you'd need actually display it as simulated interlaced video instead of deinterlacing. This is possible with modern displays by putting black lines between every line of video, on alternate lines. This will cause a dimming effect, but modern displays have high enough brightness to compensate. My gut says you also need 120hz+ on the display and possibly BFI to do it "right". Or even use something like CRT-Beam-Simulator.
>>107745121The easiest source to find and compare today would be professional wrestling DVDs released in the era before HD. Then compare them to what is available on the Peacock archives. The DVDs preserve the original 480i 60 fields per second temporal quality. The Peacock version will be in 30 frames per second and although the image might be a little sharper, the loss of motion clarity makes it look less alive.
>>107744241>the majority of them have been converted to 60 fps via adding fake frames rather than using an original source.This. Same with old porn, it's always 30fps or ai upscaled and smoothed from 30fps instead of de-interlaced using 60i originals.

Qualcomm's most advanced ARM chips now rival the performance of the Apple M5. Why hasn't Qualcomm opted to open source the drivers, enabling the creation of robust ARM Linux laptops? Do they have deal with Microsoft?
>single-coreAre we still using MacOS Tiger or Windows XP?Single core hasn't mattered in two decades, even web browsers spawn gazillion threads who work better on multi threaded cpus, most shit you do on apple machines is multimedia creation wich benefit from multi threading.
>>107739299>It’s not up to Qualcomm. You have to ask this mentally ill trannysoftbank owns arm now. so ask the japs.
>>107741844>binary "translators".turning a man into a woman? already used extensively in linux, don't see what the problem is.
>>107744894>Single core hasn't mattered in two decadesDepends what you're doing. Ideally, you have good performance both for single-threaded and multithreaded code, and you're efficient enough that you don't get thermally throttled (with the help of whatever your cooling solution is). From a software perspective, best is if you can do your thing quickly and let the computer go back to sleep, but not all apps can possibly work that way.
