it's easy arch, you can get into it and learn coming from windows without too much trouble.
if you want trouble just install arch straight away and learn the hard mode.
eventually you'll end up on arch anyway.

>Our North Star is ‘1 engineer, 1 month, 1 million lines of code.’ To accomplish this previously unimaginable task, we’ve built a powerful code processing infrastructure. Our algorithmic infrastructure creates a scalable graph over source code at scale. Our AI processing infrastructure then enables us to apply AI agents, guided by algorithms, to make code modifications at scale. The core of this infrastructure is already operating at scale on problems such as code understanding.”

This. AI is notoriously bad at generating good quality Rust code.
At best they could use AI to analyze existing code, but the main bulk of work will still have to be done by a human programmer. AI left alone will quickly spiral into uncompilable spaghetti mess.

I use QubesOS with detached boot partition on 2 duplicated USB drives with any data that rests on the SSD/HDDs being encrypted with LUKS2. Whonix gateway is proxied through a VPN qube to hide Tor IPs (can't hide communication patterns) without bridges since bridge IPs can be farmed. Sometimes Tor through I2P outproxy or vice-versa or with different anonymizing network overlays. Clients used for browsing are only opened in on-RAM ephemeral qubes with no access to permanent storage. Attack surface is quite minimum since no extra things added like USB mouse and no PV qubes (aside from sys-usb and sys-net) are used for launching HVM qubes with qemu stub domains unless very necessary and every other qube on the system gets shut down first to keep information leakage minimum. A veracrypt volume with hidden storage on a permanent qube for data storage and plausible deniability.

what's your setup like?

Why is NAI so good bros? I feel guilty paying only 25 bucks a month, I think they deserve more.
>>
>>107644525
I can't get any text to work. Even something as small as "LET'S DO IT" is beyond either this model to render, or my prompting.
>>
>>107645166
Maybe you have quality tags enabled? It adds "no text" tag at the end LOL.
Anyway I just clean out everything unrelated and pretty much only leave the text I need it to inpaint (like in my prompt in that image).

Based. And how much would you pay for NAI if money wasn't an issue? I think I'd pay between 50 and 75, it's the SOTA anime model

What is the best value thermoplastic printer in terms of diminishing returns? A lot of my friends use resin, but don't have anything with FDM.
>>
>>107635712
Yea its 22lr. Using 5 chambered pieces of liner and a barrel thats reamed and the center drilled to make a sortof forcing cone. My greatest hurdle so far is indexing the cylinder accurately without manually rotating it. Otherwise its held up.I wouldnt trust a fully printed handgun beyond 32acp yet. The plastics just arent strong enough without it becomming a chunky fuck like a hipoint 45acp.
My design is my own but the looks are based heavily off the RIA m200 because i like the size and feel. Figured it would make a decent 22lr and so far i was correct.

>>107635671
Designing and printing anything desu is fun as hell. Even custom slingshot bodies too.
>>
>>107643209
Im not sure i understand what youre trying to ask. Creality k1c are like 350 and print everthing under 300c. Which allows the use of "engineering grade" materials like most nylon options. Pla is cheap depending on quality and blend. Petg is also cheap. All have different qualities about them but some can be used more universally than others.
Bambu labs has a very nice printer but its a bit too proprietary for my tastes. Prusa makes excellent units as well.
Core xy seems to be the new hot thing for printer types. As such i3 designs are cheap now but still very reliable. Dont dive down the delta printer rabbit hole, theyre a strange beast.
>>
>>107642520
>Prusa seems to be a more ethical business with emphasis on quality but is way more expensive
They where only "ethical" when it was convenient to be so.
Honestly no reason to enrich Prusa for stagnation. Even today he is still accusing china of dumping when it was him making the same basic i3 design for nearly a decade.
Prusa and FOSS fags have arguably set printing back years.
>>
>>107644915
I disagree with the foss thing. Lots of advancements came from foss.
But while prusa does make a reliable rig they certainly have had their share of shenanigans.

Hello anons.

This was caused by Microsoft replacing highly skilled and high-IQ developers from the first-world countries into unskilled, low-IQ developers outsourced from the third-world countries. It was called DEI

and back then in the early 2020s, during the development of Windows 11. Microsoft silently removed the ability to move taskbar from the top, left, right or bottom and the users were not happy about it!

Windows 10 has ability to move taskbar from the top, bottom, left or right!

Windows has always been a good Kernel with a mediocre userland team, but the userland team has been declining sharply since it peaked with Windows 7. The current crop of userland devs seem to be particularly dogshit
>>
>>107644943
dei, it's not the issue per se. the way i see it, the corpos (not just ms) are using dei as nothing but a mere excuse to outsource developers and subsequently underpay them, cutting as much corners as possible. all of this is enabled by their status of basically near-monopolies.
additionally i'd like to note that corpos don't even use dei as an excuse anymore, now they are just silent about it yet they still outsource cheap labor in the shape of immigrants. i find it amusing really, especially with people like elon musk, being the zealots of everything right wing, being one of the figures that made rightism THE CURRENT THING, the same kind of rightism that frowns upon the very concept of diversity, equity and inclusion, suddenly defend h1b visas.

I was fed up with the recent laggy and bloated windows release so I checked out Mint but it was pretty janky and not a great experience overall, a lot of my programs didn't work on it as well
But then I got recommended a youtube tutorial on installing an older windows version and it made me wonder if that would be a viable alternative so I read some guides and turns out you can actually still use that version just fine if you install a modern web browser and a firewall
I was expecting to have to tinker a bit to get new programs working on it but turns out they just work out of the box
I wish Mint was as pleasant of an experience because I enjoy customizing things and it's kind of known for that, but it really falls flat in comparison
Anyone else here switched to older windows?
