Not really. The reason VLC fucks up so much shit all the time isn't because their renderer is bad (although it is bad) but because their decoders are hopelessly broken.

ITT we share helpful firefox user_prefs that make it better. I'll start.

user_pref("full-screen-api.transition-duration.enter", "0 0");
user_pref("full-screen-api.transition-duration.leave", "0 0");
user_pref("full-screen-api.warning.timeout", 0);

This removes the annoying banner saying press ESC to exit fullscreen every time you fullscreen a yt video.

user_pref("media.videocontrols.picture-in-picture.video-toggle.has-used", true);
user_pref("browser.engagement.downloads-button.has-used", true);

With this in your user.js before you open the browser it won't popup instructions on obvious features. I have a pretty big user.js based on betterfox that disables telemetry and toggles all the settings the way I like them so it's completely configured on install without doing anything, and then I've added a bunch of minor quality of life conveniences like these. Share yours anons.

I have an engine written in C but I'm kind of getting bit too old to put so much effort into every single LOC. So I am considering continuing it in Zig, is it viable for gamedev yet? Or is there a better option (that's not C++ or Rust). What's the deal with Odin?
>>
So how do you turn professions/classes into lewd types with different effects? Lewd stuff is lesser than wrestling.
I mean do you do it the stupid way and relegate tit size, cock size, thrusting styles and positions only to certain classes, greatly undermining the other? like only priest/monk can heal and no one else? or make it more balanced, less WoW-like and let other classes heal as well in different methods? Problem is how do you translate that to sex/wrestling? do you allow missionary for only 1-2 classes or everyone gets the basic positions? how do you make missionary different for everyone despite it being the same ability?

Monk, acrobat and similar classes get into weird contortion positions.
Whatever's a "controller" class ("Binder" is one in D&D 4e, fittingly enough) gets to employ bondage (and potentially psychological domination).
Summoners, hunters and beast masters will totally try to make their opponents into (sex) pets.
Machinists and other crafters get to create and employ semi-automated restraining contraptions (look up "Devious Devices").
Clerics will try their best for missionary positions for the sole purpose of reproduction and get a bonus for it.
>>
>>107635394
Zig is more verbose than C but it has good allocation mechanisms
C++ is fine unless you fall in the OOP overengineering trap
Rust isn't suitable for gamedev and you'll waste even more effort into every LOC
No idea about Odin, it's inspired by Jai which is a gamedev language and some anons swear by it on here
I would like to take this moment to shill D, it has good interop with C but it may not fit your needs

NitroGen learned to map gameplay pixels to gamepad actions. It currently only works with controller based games.

>tfw tranny but hate linux
i'm not even false-flag shitposting to make linux users feel smug. i wish i liked it because then i'd be like countess generic programmer trannies on the internet, but everything about how you use it is idiotic, everything about it is directly opposed to the principles of good system design for end users, that i just can't stand it. it doesn't fill any use case for me, and while i know there's a bunch of poseurs out there who just tweet from linux mint instead of windows while understanding even less about linux than i do, that doesn't satisfy me.

so i'm unhappy. at least until i get bored of computers as a hobby and go back to seeing them as the tools they are.

Notably women lack upper body strength compared to men, causing exercises which emphasize such to be particularly difficult. The dip is one such exercise. Many women struggle to even do regular push ups, which are much easier. For an actual biological female, even a bodyweight dip is considered an advanced exercise of significant difficulty.

Any version of Windows since 1995 has been more polished, production-ready and user-friendly than any Linux distro ever made. That's obvious to anybody who has installed both of them on the same machine.

Are Linux users just lying about their distros being a better experience than a Windows installation?

And I saw the opposite daily. The drivers on windows make printing a single image on multiple sheets of paper to enlarge it just a simple option. Same with printing multiple images as a booklet. On loonix there's only workarounds with more software or making shit into pdfs.
Forcing the penguin to only use black ink and not the colors is also harder. On winshit I just click "use black only" and it actually uses only black. Loonix options that say "print in grayscale" sometimes only print in grayscale but still use all 4 inks, and sometimes actually use only black. There is no "use black only" option.
>oh, you should just-
That's the point, I don't have to do any "just" on winshit, just click print and get the result I want. Its easier and faster.
Also the penguin doesn't have any decent drivers for Nvidia GPUs.
>its your fault for buyin-
Again, that's the point, on winshit the GPU just works, on linux it barely works and there doesn't seem to be any way to fix it since the drivers just aren't there.
On winshit you can select multiple files and just rename them, it automatically adds the numbers to the end of the file, on linux (mint at least) you use some tool that has more options, but to do the same thing as windows takes extra steps and time. Sometimes the extra options are nice, sometimes you just want the fast and simple.
Also open source software for photo/video editing only recently got good enough, if you wanted the best tools your only choice was winshit.
Can we stop lying that *everything* is easier on linux? It's not.
