How do you like your e-readers? Have you installed non-standard firmware?
>>107728207>I just don't understand why the fuck the resale value went through the roof. The scalperpocalypse in 2020 for GPUs made every tech product increase price on the used market because people finally noticed they could price used electronics at almost retail price and still get buyers, instead of not paying attention to the prices.

Hey guys, I've only ever used aliexpress once to buy a bootleg fumo a few years back and I wanted to ask if reviews on this site can be trusted
>>107728913>add up to 5that's the thing, dude said more than 5 buttons
>>107729125Reviews on AliExpress? It heavily depends. I don't think they do paid reviews like Amazon funnily enough, but they have a lot more weird habits like buyers who will rate everything 5 stars even if the item doesn't work, removing reviews or straight up changing all older reviews to 5 starsBest bet is read the reviews. >>107728871I don't think it will be real HDR at that price anyway desu.I'd suggest checking Youtube there are people who compare all the cheap chinese ones>>107728913quidco here had 26% which seemed great and then all my orders only tracked at half the price they actually were. claims process is too lnog I can't be arsed

comfy will offload models into the swap which you want because reloading them from your multi TB hdd is much slower than loading them from an SSD or the ram. its all about the read speed MB/s anons :)You want the swap of data to happen as fast as your machine can do it.
A cheap ass mobo can hold like 128 GB physical ram but have you seen the ram prices? You knew that was gonna happen once people understood that offloading is a thing due to 24GB vram not even being enough. Next will be the SSD drives, they will come for those also.
>>107729174Pic related, i was correct, merged clips are now 99.9% seemless your brain does not notice unless you've done a frame by frame study first otherwise the video is now seemless no jarring jumps. Now i'm testing dropping the motion frames to 0 as i suspect its not what we want, we only ever needed the reference frame zero enforcing the characters appearance between clips and not the motion. Same prompt and continued motion frame will cause characters to animate like they're retarded like constantly lifting their leg over and over etc.I was too drunk last night to figure this shit out. Today is a good day.

>>107729520>Now i'm testing dropping the motion frames to 0 as i suspect its not what we want,I am wrong here, dropping the motion frame just starts the video from the reference frame. erm I have to figure out how to stop that retarded motion perhaps its purely because I'm using same seed and same prompt. But yeah i will have the perfect workflow done today.
For me, it's the HD600. The best headphone. I even ask for extra foam inserts and the Sennheiser support staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige. One time I asked for replacement pads and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly Sennheiser rep laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!".Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three pairs of pads. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local audiophile shop, I go there at least 3 times a week for HD600s and a Schiit stack with Modi instead of Modius, 1-2 times for balanced cables on the weekend, and maybe once for a tube amp when I'm in a rush but want a great listening experience that is affordable, neutral, and can match my daily "this is endgame" posting needs.I even EQ my HD600s with oratory1990's preset, it's veiled! What a great headphone.
i use a hd 490 pro with an atom stack 2. are anc headphones even worth the trouble? or should i stick to some cheap 50 dollar jbl earbuds. i heard they got crackling sounds because of the mic or the bluetooth on ewaste after 3 years.
>>107726766February 18, 2027 will change ANC headphone design in the whole world. All products sold in EU must have easily replaceable batteries with no tools necessary. It covers headphones and earbuds. And batteries for these units must be readily sold at least 5 years after the last product sold.

>>107717092DOpusstwrtisback
This shit is like black fucking magic, how come there only one company doing this shit?!?!
>>107722162You forgot: being owned by its own customers.
>>107729398Nobody developed their own machines because it would have gotten them raped by patent troll.Think about HTC, the once largest smartphone manufacturer on the planet. They got kicked out of both the USA and the EU by patent trolls enforcing trivial patents. The smartphone sector of HTC is dead now.It is economically more viable to take the L and adhere to those patent trolls, because it keeps you access to 750 million people Westoid market. But once you are kicked out of the market via sanctions, you don't have to care about the trolls anymore. If not a single one of the devices, that get produced by 100% Chinese tech, can be sold in the US and EU... who gives a fuck? They already kicked you out anyway!See >>107728892 trying to kick out Chinese RAM producers to protect their cartel. The Westoid economic war is so retarded that it's simply not economically viable anymore to care about the Western market. Therefor: You are now allowed to develop without artificial constraints.
>>107729418They might be able to skirt around the patents depending on methods employed, and perhaps they'll pay the royalties in other places.Patents don't stop you from employing the technology. It's not the same as copyright. You can pay the royalties where applicable, and avoid the patents by using different methods in other places.
>>107729471If violating those patents mean to get kicked out of a 750 million people market, it is economically smarter to not violate them. Doesn't matter if those patents are legit or if they are based on lies.HTC got raped out of the Western markets because of patents that Google violated with Android but somehow got selectively enforced on them.HTC is Taiwanese, so a vassal country, so of course they weren't allowed to defend themselves and got slaughtered by lies.
>>107721911>how come there only one company doing this shit?!?!It required a tremendous investment. And if two companies did it not only would that investment double but the profits would be much smaller because neither would have a monopoly. So for investors it made more sense to all gamble on the same horse.
cloud gaming will become extremely popular if this rumour end up being true
>>107729431literally buy high sell low situation right now.
>>107729435use case for super high definition video?(fr I usually end with 6-8 GB 4k av1 rips and I don't really feel like I'm missing out compared to the 50GB + behemoths)
>>107729282The other graphics cards are gonna skyrocket too when they switch from manufacturing low-end GPUs to high margin AI accelerators. Semiconductor production is a zero sum game as long as they refuse to build more fabs, enjoy paying flagship prices for entry level products.
>>107729467Projectors with large screens. When AV1 becomes more power-efficient in encoding I might take a look. It used to be that buying an HDD was cheaper than the power needed to convert Blu-ray into AV1. But that might have changed recently. Are there any hardware AV1 encoders worth their salt? As in VMAF > 97 with decent compression.
>>107729184I wouldn't say it stopped improving. You're getting similar performance for less electricity, which honestly should've happened sooner.
