It doesn't make users mad but it hides all results from users who don't have an open port from searches. You might as well not use the VPN for it.

I got a job offer from a tech company. The team is full indians (only indians), all of them are H1bs. Should I reject it? I am a white dude.
I am still employed. For now. My job prospects are uncertain due to budget cuts. However, the current team is white.

You have a skill issue, Timmy. Please don't take it personally. Instead, try to improve yourself so you might become employable.

You sound like a disgruntled redneck employee, even before they've fired you for your incompetence, if I do say so myself. That loser attitude that you're carrying will keep you working at McDonald's bringing me my order and being thankful for it your whole life.

why does our fucking shit keep getting 404'd edition

Think about it; Why dox yourself to Google just to get an email address when you can just self host your own mail server?
>hurrr durrr your emails wont go through!!!! you're gonna get flagged!

Set up the correct SPF/DKIM/dMARC and they won't.

Why give Discord your phone number when you can just self host XMPP and Mumble?

>whos gonna move to xmpp and mumble???
Any single one of your friends who also recognizes the centralization problem.
If your friends don't recognize that problem, then they're retarded. There are plenty of people to find that do.

Why use social media when you can make your own website and forum?

The site I posted on has to give a shit. That's semi-true for 4chan but not every site. We know 4chan is glowware.
There are three levels of subpoenas they would need to go through to get to me specifically, right now. With this new ID system, there is only one if it doesn't go straight to a government database already. Each of those have to be agreed upon by a judge, and "Calling Trump's hands small" isn't sufficient for any judge in this country, but it is sufficient for Orange Hitler. That's how he sued the CNN journalists to begin with.

Basically fuck you.
>>
>>106099964
He is wrong but even if he is right he is still wrong. Why would he admit that real ID is inevitable? It's like giving free pass for politicians to do what they want. Fuck that guy.

Nox Edition

The mission of /ptg/ is to promote the highest possible standards of tracker service by providing members with opportunities for professional development, by recognizing technical competence through examinations and by advancing the interests of its members. Concomitant with our dedication to infrastructural excellence and meritocratic recognition, /ptg/ remains unencumbered by the ubiquity of publicly accessible resources. Parallel redundancies on inferior platforms are neither noteworthy nor welcomed; membership is neither solicited nor encouraged among those whose affiliations lie elsewhere.

Why is old junk like Model F/M keyboards and CRTs now seen as a more premium, high quality, and expensive option over modern equipment? Was some of our shit really higher quality 20-30 years ago?

Good point I forgot to clarify that despite the buckling springs, the model M is a membrane keyboard. The early model F had solenoids underneath the keys to replicate the feel of a beam spring teletype as they were afraid of consumer backlash towards cheapening peripherals. Really it is the evolution of the personal computer from being a luxury to a necessity when we track the system included keyboards.

Yeah, you could just roll your chair over and chat or pretend to work and be left alone.
It really wasn't that bad.
I do see how it bad a bad 'vibe' back then since it looked dreary and boring(looking back, boring was nice and comfy).
But also because no one knew the horrors that lay ahead like the dreaded open office hell and similar setups.

I think the experience varies a lot from workplace to workplace. My first office job in the mid 2000s was super chill, I had no idea how good I had it back then. My second office job was really stressful, I was getting fucked in the ass constantly. But that had more to do with my new boss than the workplace and cubicles themselves.
