Im tired of being spied on and tracked by and taken advantage of by glowniggers, i just want to be able to speak my mind and not have to pretend to be some gay ass freak faggot just to make everyone feel fine and happy while not setting off any alarms. It used to be freenet or i2p where you could do that but im not so sure now.

Picked this up during black Friday for 549 bucks and after a shipping delay its gonna arrive sometime this week. For vidya and uni work it the specs seem completely fine but the only problem is that there is only one memory slot and its only 512gb but the ram is ddr5 5600 which is great for the price of it. Did i get a good deal? And also are there any problems with it I should address especially with it being a new gaming laptop.

Ubuntu is objectively the best Linux distribution - on paper. Good implementation of GNOME and Snaps are awesome - on paper. The thing is, it just isn't good for gaming anymore. Every time I've tried Ubuntu, I run into gaming related problems like Directx12 and 11 errors - didn't happen on Mint or KDE Linux (which is in fucking alpha). Ubuntu saying its good for gaming has to be a lie at this point or Ubuntu developers don't game.If I try to enter settings on Deadlock, the game freezes, doesn't happen on any other Linux distribution btw. It takes around 5-10 minutes to load into Deep Rock Galactic because of constant freezing - doesn't happen on any other Linux distribution either...Well, I thought maybe it's because I always tried the newest Ubuntu version but turns out these problems are on the LTS too. Legit what in the fucking fuck.
>>107720878uninstall gnome and block snapd and see if it helps (it will)
