>I'm making a lot more typos than I usually do
people have been reporting touch targets not actually lining up with what they typed ever since liquid ass was introduced
>>
>>107840352
I want to upgrade to a base 17 or 16PM from my Galaxy S23, with the main factor being face ID. My S23 has face unlock and it works perfectly, but it won't let me authenticate my payment or bank apps, which is so fucking annoying, because I have dry fingers and the FP reader can just fail on me while I'm at the cashier and I have to fumble around with my wallet to find my physical card, because otherwise I'd have to stand there typing my password manually.
Also how's the battery? My S23 has really mediocre battery that only lasts me a full day because I just straight up don't use the phone for more than 3 hours a day, including playing my silly Trickcal gacha game for like 30 minutes. I'd hope an iPhone 17 would have significantly better battery. If I push my current phone I could probably get about 6 hours of SoT with light usage (video, 4chan shitposting) on Wi-Fi at 120Hz or 5-6 hours on 4G with power saver.
>>
>>107840430
The face unlock is genuinely really good, I don't miss the fingerprint reader at all if I'm being honest. I am not a battery expert though, so you should probably look up a guide on battery tests for it. A full charge usually gets me to around 40-50 percent by the time I'm home but that's with my watch connected too and I'm on data for about 10 hours when I leave my house because I don't trust public wifi or my work wifi, and I don't like LTE so I have 5G turned on, which I'm sure eats through a lot. Another gripe I forgot to mention is the lack of a "close all" button for apps so I'm sure me leaving a ton of apps open all the time doesn't help the battery either.

>>107840414
What's liquid? Is that part of the UI?
>>
>>107840468
>so I'm sure me leaving a ton of apps open all the time
From what I understand iOS automatically suspends background activity for closed apps, except edge cases like messaging apps or background music.
I may have even read that you can't even upload to google drive in the background? You need to have the app open for any progress to happen.
>What's liquid?
NTA but that's the "term" for the new glass-like design of iOS 26.
>>
How much can I trust a used iPhone that lists 100% battery health but has anywhere from 100 to 250+ cycles? I can't help but worry that it will start dropping 1% every month as soon as I buy it.

I tried but its a pain in the ass with having to use the mouse to copy to the clipboard and the webm play thing where I have to uncheck something so the webm files loop. It can't load certain pages and 3-4 surf windows use more RAM then Brave, but under that is less them Brave.

tldr just use Brave

I use Eclipse because it's a real IDE rather than a useless text editor. It's like the difference between using a computer, and being a phone fag. Using a text editor when IDEs exist is tinker tranny autismo.

You basically have to BUILD an IDE starting from an underwhelming editor. This is why the whole JavaScript/NPM community is so retarded. All of them use text editors and end up needing to run bullshit linters and packagers and whatnot, because they don't have a real IDE that provides them with this functionality out of the box. That results in brain damaged ideas like downloading node packages and just executing them on your machine, trusting complete strangers on the internet with everything in your home dir.

And of course, that experience is so bad for them, they now do things like run "ai agents" such as claude in their environment too. Like, I guess if you assume your ass is already pwned by NPM supply chain hackers, then installing some trillion dollar corporate spyware that uploads all your work to a competitor makes some kind of sense.

No he isn't, He is a DemSoc that happens to make exceptions on free speech and many negative social liberties. Even though his political views are far from mutualism and classical (pre ayn rand) libertarianism he correctly identified the patent monopoly.

If he was a communist he would demand the United States Government force everyone to open source their code

So how do I actually architecture/structure my game's code base? What is the current proper way? I see people suggesting OOP and ECS, but they don't elaborate on the details, what do they mean by OOP exactly? Surely they do not mean that I need to do these large inheritance trees, so what pattern do they actually suggest? Similarly, for ECS, it is a bit more clear, but I can't quite figure out what is the suggested pattern for handling events in in-game logic. Do tell me about how to do it properly in either OOP or ECS, or both.

What cybersecurity service would many people pay for, or what service would a small number of wealthy people pay for?
11 replies and 1 image omitted. Click here to view.
>>
>>107834430
It's not cybersecurity per se, but you would definitely require a lot of it for this service. Along with abandoning all human morals.
GTA3 had the parody of "babiesovernight dot com! Babies in a box, direct to your front door" and it was supposed to be for adoption. But now we know a not-insignificant number of millionaires and billionaires would be interested in that as a subscription model for their sexual and/or culinary desires. So there's your app idea.
>>
>>107835654
nta and I hate the permanegative culture on this site but damn man you need a reality check in the worst way
>Original ideas often fail...
Right, so you admit that you didn't even need a great or imaginative idea, but you still want to outsource it? Why even post the question just ask Grok
>you could have said that from the start
If you didn't even know that, how can you possibly expect to get anywhere? You have ZERO business sense
>if you don't want to spoonfeed...
So now you admit you want to be spoonfed, and here's the grand irony anon - you then say that anon is like a child. SPOONFEEDING IS LITERALLY FOR CHILDREN. Then you decide to continue insulting the only anon trying to help.
Time for the reality check anon - there are 100 million jeets right now asking AI questions like yours, getting project ideas, and vibe-coding them all into existence. They will work harder than you, longer than you, and most probably understand the tech sector better than you (given you seem to understand almost nothing).
So do yourself a favour - admit to yourself you're only pursuing this path because you're too lazy to seek out work that means leaving the comfort of your chair, lack the charisma for grifting and lack the imagination to think of anything else. Embrace that truth and take decisive action - either commit to being a better worker and get out of your comfort zone into the real world (maybe trades) OR accept your worthlessness and settle for a life of unfulfilling mediocrity as a permaNEET.
but either way get the hell off this board, you don't belong here.
