2025 was great for Linux:
>All mainstream distros just werk
>Normie social media coverage
>We have 3 Desktops now!
>Thanks Cosmic, KDE, GNOME!
>Wayland made x11 obsolete
>Valve hardware soon
>Gaming on Linux is good
>All time high desktop linux
>Microsoft keeps adding AI, bugs and spyware
If you are not on Linux, wtf is your excuse???

>Cosmic
I will try it in the future again it just feels incomplete.
>hopefully KDE gets less ugly and buggy and GNOME gets more functional.
This. I like them both, but they aren't perfect and I feel like cosmic can solve that for me.

>plebs will never jump from the botnet, get real.
True, even flashing a usb stick and installing a noob friendly distro is too much to ask. They need a .exe on their destkop, that installs the distro for them.
>x11 and wayland desktops are trash
They work. What are you even running? Gentoo with i3?
>Valve hardware/Gayming who cares?
Normies can't even flash a stick, preinstalled software is what made MS big and gayming is popular.

If you can get a C13 Yoga preferably with 16GB RAM for under maybe $200 it's very very worth it to run Linux on. You'll have to flash the mrchromebox firmware on it. Best Linux laptop I've ever used with openSUSE. XFS, not btrfs, the system grinds to a halt with snapper

I still think it was a good deal. It's in very good condition and smaller form factor is probably better all things being equal.. only real annoyance is max RAM being 24GB.

I'll be sticking with 1080p. And I don't think that I'll ever change it. It just works. You can't see individual pixels, it is relatively easy to run nowadays and almost everything is designed for it.

Also, I think that this thread is the only time I come on this board anymore.

1024x768. I bump it to 1366x768 to play games that don't go lower than 720p. Otherwise I mostly play games at 800x600. You don't really need more.

Don't know but after learning Firefox supports tags for bookmarks I can find information easier.
>>
I would like it if there was a way to spatially record bookmarks.
For me tabs are a great way to spatially remember information, and yeah I know this is a cope for hoarding.
I know that that wiki article is left of that web app etc etc.
Bookmarks don't allow me to do that.
I need a solution though, I'll admit it's a problem.

I'm not sure on his methodology.
Limiting the mem config in Windows to use the same RAM sticks for all the tests is something of a black box for the way Windows handles memory allocation.

>>
>>107716005
Spring weighting is entirely preference. I'm typing on 69g 22mm springs right now for example.
>>
>>107716005
If you think these are too light, 55g will be lighter (these are 60g springs)

But a very long 55g could feel heavier, depending on how long the Outemu's springs are. That graph suggests they're short springs

NTA but it's the wetting current and voltage being too low
You didn't really hear much about bad mouse switches until the use of general purpose ARM microcontrollers started being used in them.
ASICs actually meant for mice used 5V for the input pins.
ARM based microcontrollers use much lower voltages. Sometimes 1v or even less.

The switches used at the start of the epidemic of "bad switches" are exactly the same as the ones a decade ago but being operated out of spec means they don't work as reliably

>As an eReader, it fucking sucks
It’s great actually, very customizable and gives you your preferred window size. I’ve noticed other e-readers just span the whole screen like I’m trying to read a gigabook. On Calibre after you first download, just drag the height of the e-reader to the top of the screen, click remember Window Size, and you have an actual book-sized page.
And your issues with conversion are a skill issue as other anon mentioned. It even sounds like you’re buying them like a boomer.
