I didn't want to raise the subject, but that's because you were asking the wrong person.
I just let your lack of reading comprehension go - you obviously misinterpreted "his" (third person) as "my" - but you insisted on bringing attention to this.

of course. mostly for my grandpa. he got a windows laptop recently after years with a shit computer, and i've been helping him out with stuff he doesn't understand
it fucking sucks that windows just bombards him with pop-ups that he doesn't understand so he calls me over

Unnecessarily complex and without proper documentation means you will only get the most autistic of troons on board therefore dead on arrival
>>
>>107680093
>unnecessarily complex
Is there a simpler alternative? Maybe it's complex for you, low IQ nigger, but anyone can figure out how to use Nix after a few days.
>without proper documentation
Use case for proper documentation? Maybe that's something you need in your crappy enterprise Java job. Functional programming hardly requires extensive documentation; it's in the very nature of the paradigm. If you can't understand it, memes aside, it's a skill issue, meaning the problem is you, not the tool.
>you will only get the most autistic of troons on board
Ironically or not, the autistic troons already deliver higher quality software than the nazifags larpers who are bothered by the trannies. The most you chuds can manage is to make some meme like Apartheid Linux, basically a toy project of LSF, nothing more than that.
I also don't want a project full of colorful faggot flags, the problem is that you don't do anything relevant in return either, so the software field is completely free for trannies to play. If you think NixOS is bad, try making a better alternative. Simple as that.

I gave that a try before doing a headband swap (also did pilot pad and official HD650 headband padding before that) and all three would result in hotspots and, surprisingly, similar comfort to stock, but your mileage may vary I guess
I know that sounds ridiculous, but the most comfort I've had period was by cutting https://www.aliexpress.us/item/2251832713371606.html to size and zip-tying it to the headband, but I haven't tried that on a stock Foster biodyna. it's also way more comfortable than the usual leather suspension strap IMO

Not the other guy, but I'm on my (oled) phone and there's absolutely zero raised blacks on any of the 4 displays (which is kinda suspicious, btw).

I have a glass balcony door right next at 90° to it, facing south, and on evenings sunlight hits the screen; matt screen would really suck. Glossy screens also have antiglare coatings, though effectiveness varies.
Btw, I'm using a matt screen protector on my phone rn. It's really just like matt paper: you definitely lose contrast/blacks, and sliding your finger even makes that paper like sound, but i kinda like it. For reading it's not an issue.

Anyone ever deal with this issue? Firefox based browsers (including thunderbird and librewolf) are drawing a "hitbox" or outline around menus. The box is slightly larger than the menu because the shadow effect is part of the menu.
Was considering switching to firefox but this bug is driving me crazy.

There is no compromised update, the update fixed a vulnerability that has existed since forever, so by not updating you're still using the version with the vulnerable updater.
>>
>>107679769
Where do I find the updater? I can't see it anywhere.
>>
>>107679800
It's installed alongside the program and it's used when it prompts you to update to a new version and you agree. It's not a separate download or something, it's part of the same installer package.

>>107674155
We will never have a quantum computer. The science behind it is flawed. Unironically.
>>
>>107677489
It's interesting but it's impossible to say if it's correct. Nobody can do serious calculations with it. If you are serious about quantum mechanics interpretations you need to read the literature. For example
>https://arxiv.org/pdf/1111.3328
Read the references, find which papers are interesting, read what papers reference them etc. I assume you have at least basic graduate level knowledge of QM/QFT calculations otherwise there is no point to any of this. Nobody in the field thinks CI or everett is unironically/naively correct for obvious and less obvious reasons.
