that anon that said audiophiles listen to their pos through reviews and not the pos itself was spot on in hindsight
I'm Finnish, what DAP and IEM combo should I get? Should I get them in blue and white?
I'm EQing my freshly burned in TRN ST7. The ear rape isn't too bad, pretty standard for IEMs actually but the 2DD needs a chance to shine. It's starting to sound more like a proper V-shape rather than treblecannons. Kind of a shame but I can see how the tuning got too zealous with trying to impress with muh treble detail and catering to chinks and their shallow neotenous ear cunnies that love to be pierced. Best $20 I ever spent. White people need to season they earphones after all.
I'm an uncucked listener.

My old (~2 years) steelseries prime's scroll wheel broke and it is skipping inputs and even reversing them when I scroll down. Can I fix it or should I just buy a new mouse? If so which one? I generally liked this one.

If linux is so good, how come it doesn't just work?
>>106754292On linux there is lxrandr that provides a simple gui so you don't have to remember the command switches for xrandr. However it is annoying still as it doesn't just work. You have to either remember the correct resolution or try several different resolutions to get it right when you connect it to say your television. With modern Windows, it simply automatically switches to a correct resolution to mirror your laptop. With linux it is a struggle session. Stuff like that sucks under linux.

>>106753774I kneel. I can't do it.>>106755423First of all, you can't pick "randoms" in a vast population across a vast geography. That simply never happens and is not possible(how do you even get that misconception is beyond me), and it was even worse when that study was conducted.Study of sample's possible biases is an important part in any such study for a reason, and that study is an absolute faliure in that regard. You can read it, instead of bickering about things on /g/.Secondly, beyond the flawed methodology part, that has nothing to do with what I said.>>106755433I don't know about the bumps, but profuse apologies for the walls of text.

AI should re-write GNU compiler and glibc in rust and release it under a closed source license with Elon Musk and grokCanonical and RedHat should implement this and spend heaps of money keeping it closed source and proprietary.the rest will follow suit. The end user should never have a compiler because this is antithetical to the user experience.users should be required to register with a "Linux account" and a renewable "linux license" to make sure the system is up to date and genuine, A genuine system would not be able to download files.Apps should be installed with one click, or through a paid app store, and not with using retarded configurations and "muh compiler" like a sub 50 iq neckbeardSoftware included would be provided by Microsoft and Google.the system should be immutable because the user should not need to modify the system, and should not be able too.The user would be allowed a total of 3 folders, Desktop, Downloads, and Cloud.Comment too long. Torvalds dies and the Kernel copyright changes to proprietary and closed source.DistroHopping would no longer be allowed, the system cannot be replaced. The unified Linux distrobutiong colloquially known as "The Distro" or "Linux"updates are non-optional and the OS and Software version is controlled by the repository and can not be downgraded, machines deemed "obsolete" would no longer be supported by the repo and updates and software support will cease. The bootloader should be locked, the kernel signed and the MOBO manufacturer would need to be complicit or the system would not run.Linux computers should not be compatible with windows and Windows computers should not be compatible with linux, this would be a security vulnerability.
There will be no command prompt.
Bash should be replaced by a reduced functionality agentic copilot, requiring an internet connection or the system would not work, computers would have esim cards.Full functionality would be available on windows.
