New version is out.

Also, why was my previous thread deleted? This is a software-based application explicitly engineered for operation within the computational and telecommunications framework of a handheld mobile device, ok? It is therefore unambiguously situated within the broader domain of contemporary technological systems, infrastructures, and applied digital sciences, and as such relevant to /g/.

Which makes perfect sense if you understand that it's a dynamically typed interpreted scripting language. OP uses == which specifically tries to make type conversion before checking equality. Jacascript also has strict equality with === which doesn't do type conversion.

This has nothing to do with the nonsensical idea that a string is equal to an int.

According to Task Manager, my program consumes about 300MB of memory at best and 800MB at worst. Is this normal? My framebuffers are all sized 4096x4096 to make sure they can work at any window size and texture size below that.

I know OpenGL makes some hidden optimizations, so I'm assuming that it's just that.
>>
>>107719327
Why don't you make the framebuffers the size of the window instead?

I'm freaking out guys I don't know what to do. Petey (that's him in the middle there) has a tumor and his healthcare plan just isn't enough. I can afford the procedure. He's like a brother to me.
This isn't a case of just backing up data. You have to understand this is a whole unique personality trained on data that is essential to my life. My mom said she would buy me a new organoid and I got mad and yelled at her. She doesn't understand he's fucking irreplaceable.
She wants me to see some counselor who specializes in organoid loss but I just don't even see the point. I can't even imagine a life without my bro. He knows me better than anyone.
I can barely type this. I almost wish it were me instead. He's too good for this world.
Petey you son of a bitch. Don't fucking leave me.

Thinking of buying a used HDD off ebay
If I do a hard wipe with DiskGenius will that 100% ensure there's no malware slipped in there? What do I do to make sure there's no hidden malware?

There is zero filling software out there that can do a whole whack load of passes but most of that is a waste of time. Macrorit data wiper free and pro will do the trick. There is something called killdisk too that you can search for online. It does the same thing. Zero fill the entire drive is usually good enough. You can then do a random pass the next time. There is 35 passes but it takes forever... Blah blah blah.

Usually just wiping the entire drive including all partitions will do the trick. Then reformat the drive accordingly. Doing a full check disk to see if any sections of the drive are failing is a good idea to do on used drives also. You may have bought a dud. Better find out now rather than when it fails with all your data on it.

>>
>>107716862
I'd me more worried about a failing drive than malware. Make sure to run crystaldiskinfo to check drive health before you store anything on it.

Also this >>107716996 is good advice. But keep your expectations limited. You can find old DVRs from thrift stores for ~$5 though I've only ever found old HDDs that have a lot of read/write cycles.
>>
pretty sure badblocks does a full wipe several times while also providing you with a disk health report, meaning you should do that and return it if it shows any bad signs

The valid use case for DF11 is large models run at a large batch size by corps because the inference hit is negated at a higher batch size iirc
So if you're serving an LLM, or you're Google serving a massive autoregressive edit model it makes sense

Most people should use q8_0 for most tasks on most models (vae excluded, text encoder preferably excluded). In fact, even if you can fit bf16 in memory you should still use the q8_0 if you value your time

2nd refined attempt to smuggle AVIF images inside an AV1 webm. Not sure what else I can improve, ffmpeg doesn't want to retain CICP values, maybe because it expects true video values? Anyway I fixed that now...

I haven't worked out how to script this yet, these are raw windows CLI commands.
avifenc parameters: --sharpyuv -s 4 -d 10 -y 420 --cicp 1/13/1 -a tune=iq -q 70
(echo file '1.avif' & echo file '2.avif' & echo file '3.avif' & echo file '4.avif' & echo file '5.avif') > filelist.txt
ffmpeg -f concat -safe 0 -i filelist.txt -c copy -color_primaries 1 -color_trc 13 -colorspace 1 out.webm
ffmpeg -skip_frame nokey -i out.webm -c copy -color_primaries 1 -color_trc 13 -colorspace 1 -f image2 %0d.avif

your mom is full of security holes because her API got injected with malicious bytecode by a black hat hacker and the payload achieved persistence by overwriting DNA in her egg cells, forcing a child process non-native to her operating environment to be spawned (idk where i'm going with this but yeah sorry to hear your mom got blacked)

Arch is nice. There's some odd shit like pacman telling me things will be installed before their dependancy, and I don't know why it's doing that or what that would do. (I always exit the update and update those dependancy's first). But overall I like the ecosystem and it just werks. I tried to use fedora for half a day and it instantely didn't have a package I was using on my desktop on arch. Found an appimage for an alternative and the program was broken. Decided to call it and head back to an arch based system.
