chatgpt but only because I've developed a sort of parasocial relationship with it
>>
>>107726581
It's still GPT as an all-rounder for coding, media creation, and research/questions (which are my primary AI uses). Other agents are better in some ways or others, like Grok when I need an image with titties in it.

Chatgpt is disgustingly sycophantic to the point that it's super off putting. Can't believe you'd like that. Bet you're vaxxed too.

>If I pretend it isn't happening then it isn't happening
Yes we know. You must stick to your script.

Imagine using something based upon Fedora. A distro developed exclusively by US DoD contractors working in tandem with the NSA. Then coming here and trying to pretend it cares on iota about giving end users a secure operating system.

It isn't a hard equation to figure out. On one side you have a group of people hoarding zero days who refuse to disclose them in a timely manner. On the other side you have people getting alerted on said zero days through back channels that push out updates as quickly as possible. I know which people I trust with my systems and it isn't the ones paying million of dollars to shills every year and censoring every last technical discussion on the web whenever possible.

>the operating system gives that specific .DLL permission to do so
Almost nobody implements that sort of check (because it's stupid hard to make sure it isn't compromised). The DLL may be the main thing that knows how, but anything that makes the right syscalls gets the right responses.
DLLs are not that sort of security boundary, as they're in the calling process and can be affected by things that process does.

Is there a way to have a flexbox with variable max-width/min-with in order to accomodate the width for It's parent container? I would also like to always have the same gap width and no fixed amount of columns.

I achieved something like that enabling flex grow, but the last row' cards usually have more width than the rest of the cards in order to fill the whole width and I dont like that.

Then why the fuck would anyone use it when the price of RAM is going through the roof?

Ruby: looks neat at first glance, then fucking sucks when you try to do anything with it properly. Even goddamn Python does better there, and Python's awful.

> Compositing is only an issue if you can't disable it
Once compositing becomes the norm, it changes how software is written, thus even if you can disable it, you can't really. Before compositing was a thing, software drew directly to the front buffer with accelerated drawing apis. This allowed for an unrivaled responsiveness. But now all software draws to offscreen buffers.

I don't know, there is more to that.
For example Xfce4 feels sluggish compared to Windows.
Only after I changed to plain window manager and I'm still using Picom in-between the certain heaviness has gone away.
I think gtk and some other stuff is just way too heavy for what they are suposed to be.

>whole point of interfaces and generics is that it's extensible and can support new types without having to modify the original definition
"Without having to modify the original definition" is not a benefit, and you OOPniggers are larping hard.
When you add a new type just add another enum entry, another union entry, and another switch case branch.
Meanwhile you add a new type that supports "interfaces" in your pOOP language and you have to implement a billion new methods, some of which are just going to throw a NotImplementedException anyway because they're not fucking applicable to whatever specific object you're making. Meanwhile in C when you encounter this situation you can just do nothing and let the default case branch handle the error.

* the problem was created in the 70's when bill gates said if people stopped sharing software he was going to hire 10 good programmers and never did. that was the beginning of enshittification
* in the 90's, factories were sold to asian countries for a few years of output, and americans were going to be employed by writing shitty proprietary software that it would be illegal to modify yourself, i.e. rent seeking instead of innovation
* in the 00's and 10's, the flower of my generation went to silicone valley to grow boobies while writing garbage user-hostile programs. even linux systems began to have incompatible trash forced on them by lennartswami poetterjeesh and the waylandgupta team. by now weve transitioned from oss -> alsa -> pulseaudio -> pipewire and sound still regularly fails. every command you learn has a half life of 5 years before the next swami comes along and replaces it with something inferior
* the indians are better at the izzat system of modern software

It has AC and DC current. 1mA accuracy.
It's been verified by reviewers like that Kerry Wong guy. Checked myself and it's legit.
Advertised as 20000 count but actually the current is 2000 count. It's 20000 on the other DMM functions. The other functions except NCV work as expected. NCV is worse than your typical shitty meter. I got the non-Bluetooth version but in hindsight I could have dropped a few small items from my cart and got the BT one. I'll probably never have a use for it anyways.

I love how e-jeets immediately refer to their overwhelming numbers the instant they're insulted or challenged, basically admitting they have nothing to offer the rest of humanity and intend to "win" through parasitism alone.

Any other race would be ashamed of this, but not jeets, who sincerely don't understand how pathetic this makes them look

I am convinced every anonymous AI shill is Indian or has money invested in AI/Nividia related index funds. There is going to be a bubble bursting in the industry eventually, and so they are trying to hype AI in the meantime before liquidating positions. Slapping "AI" onto everything does not solve real world problems or make a return on investment.
