I think I prefer cloud based models, it's nice being able to talk with an AI assistant and choosing from multiple results and working from there instead of one attempt at a time.

I was also gifted a few solar panels that I plan to wire in on a separate low voltage DC circuit, thus avoiding use of electricians.

Why is C++ so hated?
>>107711740Memory management is hard. Since they fired all the testers, they are hoping AI can write everything and it will be secure by default.

>>107718373When he first posted the video, his github account had no repos. All this template-adherent slop is a recent development as of a couple weeks ago. My guess is that he's saving his big vimperator-if-he-windows project as something he wants to sell, but at this point the internet is so dead it wouldn't surprise me if the guy never even existed in the first place.
My outsider view is that C++ is actually the best language resting on top of a landfill, full backwards compatibility ruined it over the decades, there is just too much shit to master and too many ways of doing the same thing, each codebase is an entirely different monster and nobody wants to deal with this crapCan someone who actually codes C++ evaluate this assessment?

>>107719358Yes lower (latency), so faster refresh rate.I want a screen for daily 12h+ of exciting ssh gameplay. I assumed the static contrast would mean sharper letters, thus less strain.I also do ppts with 3d elements for extra money, so I wanted good color accuracy.I seen oled during a direct b2b meeting, these look great, but they admitted they work for 2-3 years. My secondary tn works since 2012 for almost whole day every day.
>>107719494Yeah OLEDs are the best but have limited lifespan. That's the tradeoff right now. They're also the most expensive too.IMO for your usecase, get yourself a good quality IPS. If you're really just editing text in a terminal, then that's one of the few usecases where refresh rate really barely matters so you can go with a 60Hz office monitor if you'd like.For eye strain, you are using light mode right? Make sure there's adequate lighting in your room. Don't sit in the dark staring at a dark mode terminal trying to read the white letters on it.You should also consider going for a 4k monitor just for the higher DPI, and then increasing your font size, that will help a lot with letter sharpness.
My ISP plan provides a single landline number and my router only has one RJ13 port. is there a way to have two phones attached to it in order to make them ring both when there's an incoming call? Some kind of dumb hub for phones or something.
>>107716106Is this a phone?
>>107719588I don't know how but I do know back in the day my parents used to have multiple landline phones, they were the cordless kind that you dock into a small station and we had a couple of dock+phone combos distributed around the house so you could answer from anywhere. IIRC they were even sold as pair packs.So while I don't remember how it was done I know that it was very normal and there's definitely a way to do it
