You know, fuck it. I'm going to do it in C, because Goblint-CIL is in OCaml -- which is far more popular than SML, and still, it's unknown.

If I write it in C, it would be more portable.

So, for all the difficulties, I'm just going to use the one true metaprogramming method of code generation.

I'm already using an S-Expression data description language (INU, has schemas, too!) for generation of several faculties.

Let's use codegen for EVERTHING.

And by 'everything' I basically mean, for example, the data flow engine.

You gotta see Goblint-CIL to see what I mean.
>>
>>107646158
Concerning what I wrote, I only had in mind the UBs that concerns arithmetic and bitwise operations. That's the UBs that should be gone imo. But I concede that the other UBs for things like NULL dereference make sense (for a C-like language) and you can't really avoid it except with a super strong type system like ATS's or with implicit NULLs checks, bound checks, etc..
>>
>>107644666
Very nice. What's your editor/ide setup? I was able to install esp-idf and get some examples running but I'm wondering if I should use arduino ide to start.

>UB exists because C is anemic.
holy autismo retard

dereferencing a number is UB in C, ok?
because a valid pointer is supposed to be emitted by malloc for ex.
but when you write an os, youre implementing malloc and youre working with numbers as pointers.
which is UB. but the whole OS is built on that

UB is deterministic, and it only means "hasnt been defined in the standard"

dont talk about c, anon, you know shit from fuck
your autism makes it so that any amount of fuzziness confuses you
and since youre a retard, you start hating what you dont understand instead of upgrading your knowledge.
>>
>>107646158
>>107646573
also
>hurr durr use ATS
did you only look up what that is?
its an experimental/research language
its not something youre supposed to be using outside of academic pursuits

you heard a fancy name and you repeat it around like a namedrop or something
without even paying attention to the actual thing.
thats autism, everyone
a serious mental handicap.

No.

I like how a stick of RAM costs 2000 bucks now.

Thank you, anons. Thank you for this shit.
I guess I will never build another computer. But that's they you guys planned it. First you make people dependent on tech, then you remove the tech.

also fuck you with the new, more tedious captcha.
Everything goes in the wrong direction. Scan your face and pay 2k to post on 4chan am I right?

And once again, proof Americans have the attention span of a goldfish. I saw this coming form a mile away, I build a PC pre trump or have till he is out of the white house. If it isn't a direct economic war it's his policies, running electronic prices to the roof.

Be honest please, should I bite the bullet and spend some 400€ for 32gb of decent ddr5 ram now cause it'll only go up in the next 1-2 years or not?

I hate it but I'd rather pay 400 for it now than 600 for the same thing soon.

I had a QD-OLED monitor for a bit over a year (15 months or so)
-No text fringing that can be noticed unless I take a camera and zoom in really hard
-No burn in present
-Never hid any taskbars on wangblows or linux
-Browsing for several hours a day, in fact I'm playing less and less vidya
-Pixel shifting on the lowest setting, so pretty much hard to tell
-No flicker as long as I keep framerates somewhat consistent
-Panel protect every 24h as opposed to 4
>>
I'm looking for a new monitor and honestly it's hard not to just buy an OLED at this point. I was looking at miniLED but it just looks like shit.

Even if burn-in is real, why people so afraid of it? Burn-in means non-uniform colors. Just like with LCD not from the factory but after several years.

Why in the fuck would they need them? Nobody, not even google, is hiring programmers and software engineers any longer. Lawyers, programmers, IT consultants, software architects,... - that's all completely gone.

They must be planning to use them to accelerate datacenter construction, but jeets can't build anything of high quality, it's going to be a massive failure.

Frutiger aero is too bright and overbearing.
Modern design too flat and dull, and honestly is depressing if anything.
late 90s early 2000s aesthetic though... THIS is perfect.
Shiny and fun and detailed, but not too maximalist to the point you wanna lobotomize yourself.

Once you see how easily titanium scratches, you'll never wear titanium again. I know it's not the titanium scratching, it's the oxide, but still, same shit. Looks like crap, and you can't have a nice mirror finish to match the dial.

Lume is superior to LED. Modern lume easily lasts all night, I can see mine at 6am in the dark.

It's true, but it feels so fucking good to wear I accept the scratches and wear it anyway.
After all a steel watch scratches too, even if it's slower. I work with my hand and i keep banging my wrists on things, I scratch steel, i dent sapphire, I even managed to gouge the DLC coating.

Don't care about the watch, it's just a bracelet, care about yourself and how you feel wearing it.

It's good to have the timer for cooking and world time to check the anime releases and NYSE opening.
>analog+digital quarts is a pathetic and embarrasing thing to wear
I work in irregular shifts so I NEED the day and date, without that I literally lose track of time.
As for the looks, at least it's actual metal and has a crazy shining sunburst dial.
>its cheapest looking combo and unclassy to boot
It's classier than a full digital watch, yet has all of the functionality plus solar charging, looks like a decent sports watch, and wears like nothing else.

nothing has really changed, the chinks figured out a way to bypass the fees by just shipping items in bulk instead of individual packages.
prices have genuinely barely been impacted.
>>107644029
all computer fans are chinkshit already, it's a completely globalized product.
your best bet is refurbished ones direct from brands on ebay or something.
i have had good results from buying "damaged" water coolers and just taking the fans, they are usually completely unused and the radiators were just damaged in shipping. sometimes it's just completely cosmetic and you can get a full AIO water cooler for peanuts.

>heat up to 24° from 1700 to 2200
>cool down to 16° from 2200 to 0600
and a

Wouldn't mind doing that shit with a d-pad on the thermostat or per app and bluetooth, if it's an open standard and I could use some FOSS app on my PC, should the phone app stop being supported.

Do you guys know of any Redragon keyboard models that are 5-pin (or anything besides Outemu) compatible?
This is the only "reputable" brand that I can find cheap-ish models locally, most other stuff end up costing considerably more because of customs
