>The issue involved a web application that allowed the public to search teacher certifications and credentials. The newspaper said that no private information was clearly visible or searchable, but teachers' Social Security numbers were contained in the HTML source code of those pages. More than 100,000 Social Security numbers were vulnerable, it added.
>But that news release also placed the blame on the individual who had discovered the security flaw. It described the incident as a multistep process in which "a hacker took the records of at least three educators, decoded the HTML source code, and viewed the social security number (SSN) of those specific educators."

It's not javascript that gets it. It's the "content decryption module" in your browser. We can implement this in javascript to intercept the keys though, which is not what Google intended but there are a lot of cracks in the security. See:

>Our North Star is ‘1 engineer, 1 month, 1 million lines of code.’ To accomplish this previously unimaginable task, we’ve built a powerful code processing infrastructure. Our algorithmic infrastructure creates a scalable graph over source code at scale. Our AI processing infrastructure then enables us to apply AI agents, guided by algorithms, to make code modifications at scale. The core of this infrastructure is already operating at scale on problems such as code understanding.”

If this is 'just' a research project that may never leave conceptual phases, then you don't already have an exact target volume of throughput in mind - not even as a star on the horizon.
And if this is a research project aimed at advancing the tooling, then you lead with the fact that you're going to be working on technology that will push the field forward ENABLING large-scale automated porting - because that's a much more lofty goal than actually doing the porting.

Oh- there's undoubtedly a research phase involved, but: obvious backtracking is obvious. This thing was supposed to have teeth and be put into practice. And thankfully, with all the public backlash even Microsoft's AI-enamoured head-jeets are going to think twice before pushing it.

>/g/ makes an 18th album
Theme: Outer Space Music
Title: [Accepting suggestions]
Deadline: 7th of January [revised from late December]

>/g/ makes a 19th album
Theme: [Accepting suggestions]

>Song submission rules/guidelines
Upload the file somewhere, preferably in a lossless format, and post the link here. If you want to update your track, make a new post.
Include the song title in the post, and make it clear that your song is a submission for the album.
Optionally you may include cover art for your track, but please confirm that the image in your post is the cover art or it won't be included. You may not use your real artist name.
Songs that contain anything against YouTube's policies won't be uploaded on YT, but will still be added to the album.
By default, tracks will be normalised to -14 LUFS (integrated loudness) in the release. You may specify a lower loudness for your track.
Use of AI is banned. This includes AI generated stems, samples, and effects. "AI" includes all neural network-based models and not hard-coded automation/procedural generation. You are allowed to ask an LLM about music-related questions, but asking it to give you musical ideas (eg. generating a chord progression) is already a no-no.

Others distro let you do that too, with more architecture options. Arch users act like it is something special or advanced. Its repo sucks, freeloading everything to the AUR. Minimal images are a thing in other distros as well.

arch repos are fine and its not trying to be special its very simple and it does what it does perfectly, every other distro has its pros and cons but arch is the easiest simplest distro with no frills. there is nothing wrong with the aur you can audit anything you install and you have access to literally any software you could possibly want, look at a distro like void linux which has "good repos" it has barely any packages and all the user alternatives are barely maintained. really arch is the distro for people who respect their time

I have a 10 years old dual boot machine on a single HDD that originally had a 100MB winblows EFI partition with the OS partition right after it, I chopped the latter in half because it turned out to be largely useless and moved the partition with Linux backwards, I deleted the Windows recovery partition and moved the EFI one backwards as well, neither OS was reinstalled, you can do whatever the fuck if your IQ is above 100.
