Since I have enabled the option to restore the previous session I never see the start page and they removed the option to set a custom url each time you open a new tab.

AI actually can't really write new stuff, and it still costs a lot of money to train an AI on a large code base.

Off the shelf AI that only takes 5000 characters isn't going to read my entire code base and fix high level problems without a human programmer reangling it and keeping the problems small and manageable.

And I don't think they'll be able to replace 10 programmers with 1 or 2 using AI. Learning the code base and knowing what to prompt will still require a programmer knowing the code they work on. I don't think 1 programmer is going to be able to learn about 5 different projects just because AI is coding the boilerplate code for them.
