Another way to get to this page is to:
C-h f pp
...and then from the docstring window hit:
i
...and that'll take you directly to where pp is mentioned in the info manual. "i" is bound to help-info-window in this case.

doom has its own config system that relies heavily on lazy loading and is thus incompatible with Custom, see also Doom's FAQ on that.

on keybindings, if you install a layer in Spacemacs, you'll usually find that most of the important functions are bound in a way that makes sense in evil. In Doom you need to be prepared to do a lot more work configuring keybindings yourself.

what are some alternatives to OLED
I can afford top range OLED but I cannot afford to change it every 2-3 years, I mean I can but I would find that wasteful.
It will used connected to a PC because fuck Smart TV, all I care about is a good panel.
was considering TCL but they have half the dimming zones in EU compared to the US

New LGs have AI that watches your screen and sells your data.
>>
>>107710687
Where does it sell it? To itself? You don't have to hook it up to your network. Even mine is local link only between my PC and TV to control the TV from the PC.
You don't even need to use the menus or interact with the smart shite, it works fine just as a standalone monitor.
>>
>>107710616
i use all my screens near lowest or lowest brightness setting, doesn't help and worst case, it amplifies pwm flicker. bought a lightmeter to test the frequency and modulation of screens. in short, it doesn't matter, 13k hz and near 95%-100% could still hurt my eyes, while 500hz 50% would be fine. it's something else that's raping my eyes.

my ideal setup was tablets near my face so i didn't need to wear glasses(not that bad -1.5-ish, but enough to need glasses). i had the perfect setup build, 2x 13" 4k 16:10 in portraits, alas it was not meant to be. lowest brightness setting, even a script that put 60% black on top of it. some blue light reducing glass panel in front of it. it never stopped hurting my eyes...i guess the reduced distance between my eyes and screen was responsible. needless to say i was quite dissaspointed. went back to 27" dell screens that work fine.

this all started when getting two different monitors and my eyes naturally wanting to move to a specific screen because it was more comfortable.
>>
>>107710714
>i use all my screens near lowest or lowest brightness setting
I came across some super cheap screens lately where you can't dim the backlight. Dimming is done in software like dimming image itself while backlight is running always at full brightness.
Kinda works in bright office environment but eye-rape when it's dim and dark is just unreal.

The steam frame is gonna cost like 700 dollars maybe more with the RAM issues going isn't it?
The Quest 3 was being sold for 407+100 dollar in Amazon credit a week ago.

>>107707669
you would be right, if there was a competitor example that costs $700-800 (other than the quest pro for $1000).
But ignoring the quest, the pimax crystal light is wired, has no battery, no OS, no passthrough, or eye tracking, similar resolution and display (but with aspheric lenses, no pancake), and it costs $860 with controllers (but the controllers are known to be worse than steam VR's tracking, and you could buy just the headset for $600 and spend a fortune on a SteamVR adapter + controllers + base stations).
I think you are underestimating how much money meta makes from kids who trick their parents to buy a $300 VR headset, for the headset to have a $10 monthly subscription so after 1 year it becomes a $440 headset.
