skill issue. I have 2 debian servers and 1 ubuntu running docker at work. took me like 1 hour each to set up. only snag I had was automatic login with Cinnamon. modern GNOME is shit but I used it because theres an option for auto login right there in the user settings, and Ill normally just ssh into it instead of using the ugly UI

Docker desktop in windows mode uses windows containers.
Windows kernel = windows containers
Linux kernel = Linux containers
Docker desktop in windows mode literally gives you the option of WSLv2 or hyper-v, both of which just run a Linux VM with a different framework as the container host.
