Why did /g/ turn on Brave?
>>
>>106421164
Because of the forced shilling (even if well-meaning). Autists hate that kind of kikery. Which you would know already if you weren't some kind of wretched female tourist. Now GTFO, we'll make our own informed choices, kthxbye.

>t. Long-time Brave user. My Daily Driver since it's beta.

>>106421164
Relentless spam threads like this, and the fact that it's still pozzed and calling home.
>>
>>106421164
Because it just works, that's why I turned it on.

hmm?
>>
>>106421164
/g/ uses linux.
no linux distro allows crypto grifters into their repos. it's against floss.

It sounds like you're really just a hipster that just wants to feel special

Which part of

was the particularly hard one for you, fren tourist?
>>

the same reason /g/ loves firefox
chromium
>>
>>106421164
it glows
>>
>>106422142
It's completely open source anon.
Mozilla was funded entirely off Google payments and donations which were somehow all lost on DEI ventures.
>>106421193
Librewolf was exposed to have been calling home this whole time.
>>
>>106422142
Mozilla glows and it almost got killed in 2019 with their politic shenanigans where they wanted to remove any reference to Trump on the internet
https://blog.mozilla.org/en/mozilla/we-need-more-than-deplatforming/

You can read what the url says but the pussies removed the article.

If you're a white man you can stick 10 big black cocks up your asshole if you use mozilla firefox. It has the same effect.

The only thing that >>>/g/lows is this board.
>>
>>106422853
You're a limp-wristed Indian working the call center, promoting a crypto scam. Tend to shut the fuck up and know your place.
>>
>>106422226
>It's completely open source anon.
Why are the builds non-reproducible, though?
Why does brave get all litigious when someone tries to fork your malware?
How is being "open source" an excuse for the all the scammy behavior your company has displayed over the years? Why do you even have a crypto platform embedded into your shitware?
Why can't your garbage company stop astroturfing for literally one day on this board?

Does your mother know you work getting people to install malware on their PCs? What would she think?
>>
>>106421368
>brave gets popular out of merit
Pretty sure it got popular because they pay half-starved indians like you spam it relentlessly on any site that has user comments. It became infamous for trying to take donations in the name of webmasters and content creators without warning them.
A platform for grifters and cryptotards.
>>
>>106422832
If you want to sell your browser to the trumpanzees, you got the wrong board here, Devansh. Your scamware platform doesn't have a use case.
>>
this shit is a power hog. get rid of it. laptops tell you which browser is the best by power consumption

We found out the browser spies on you and finger prints you at any chance possible bypassing all your privacy extensions. You also can't run other privacy extensions now either because it uses Manifest V3 because it's based on Google Chrome. Brave is dead.
>>
>>106423118
Shit, which browser then?

ESL

But seriously, Brave should be everyone's browser, there is no reason to use anything else.
>>106423118
This schizo FUD again, Brave supports dedicated MV2 extensions like Ublock, and it's rated as one of the most secure and privacy respecting browsers in the market.
>>106423263
Brave, don't fall for that literally who schizo that rates everything as spyware.

you fags have skill issues. Still not compartmentalizing your web use on different browsers? I use a browser with a fake info for shit posting, one for work, one for personal stuff.

>>
>>106421164
High amounts of shilling. Also the bullshit they tried with quietly inserting their own referral code to some URLs, and then rolled back when people discovered it and hated it.

The browser itself is fine and including a built in ad blocker that works on Android, blocks YouTube ads, and just works without any fiddling is superb. Built in Tor support is a good addition as well, especially in this stupid new world of country restrictions. Though at present I'm still using Edge Canary with uBlock Origin on my phone and Ungoogled Chromium with uBlock Origin on my PC (and Orbot or Tor bundle if I need Tor for something).
>>
>>106425733
Does your boss think this self-deprecating before the marketing spiel tactic is clever? You sound like a fucking bot. Your browser is a poorly edited chromium skin bloated with "features" nobody needs.
