Linux is free if your time is worth nothing.

Thats not linuxs fault thats the USB port being bent.

The only difference is that windows would not give you any error logs.

Trust me from someone who has to deal with microusb to transfer files daily its 99% of the time the pins in the usb hub being bent.

I hate loonix retards who don’t even know the first thing about Windows and talk as if they’re experts.

im being serious.

Those are power errors,

Those indicate not operating system driver faults but rather power faults.

When the pins get bent they touch each other and when they touch it other it interferes with the transfer of data because now the little electrons get transferred to the other metal pin and get sent the other way.

Bend the usb and watch the errors pop up more and it will tell you. Can assure you that its not linuxs or the operating systems fault.

I littearlly use microusb everyday on a bent s6 so doing anything produces a million of those errors and I have to bend the pins to get results and try 6 cables,

Same when I use to do windows work.

this is no longer a valid argument. W11 is unironically less stable and runs worse than most mainstream linux distros at this point. the fact that microsaars are instituting mandatory vibecoding policies ensures that this will only get worse.
Every microsoft product I work with has gotten worse over the last year. It's to the point that when we ask the customer support guys what the fuck the deal is they basically just shrug and say it is what it is. They know they have retarded boomers who will just sign on for the enterprise contract year after year anyways because switching to something else at this point would be too much work.
I always thought one day OSS would get to the point where it was still worse but "good enough." I never realized that we would get to the point where a lot of the freeware/OSS alternatives are actually better than the shit companies pay money for.

TLDR, the pins in your USB hub or the device your plugging into(Espically if its microusb) are bent and the electrons being sent are going on the wrong metal pin because there touching causes the electrictity to transfer.

Filtered.

Windows will just make random connect and disconnect sounds.

The boomers also wouldn’t know how to switch even with all the resources available to them. Some of the oldy developers are quite good and could easily do it, but any suit is gonna know jack shit other than buying AWS/GCP/{$CloudProvider} compute

when i see people act like windows is a nice and stable experience all i can think about is that it's the equivalent of a person who can no longer hear the smoke alarm's chirping.

You have a broken USB device or a bad cable or port. This is what the same problem looks like on Windows. If you just plugged something in, it's that. But if it started happening periodically out of the blue, Windows is going to send you on a long journey of unplugging some of your devices, waiting a long while to see if the problem is still happening, and repeat. Linux tells you it's the one on port 1-7. What port is 1-7? Simply plug a device that works into different ports and watch that same log until a device is detected on 1-7. Whatever was on that port before is the problem.
