Are vertical tabs better than horizontal ones?What do you use?

seems like the plugin sideberry is tree style tabs but rewritten.its much faster than the old tree style tabs.

>>106426365I'm liking them more. Most websites don't use the full horizontal space of my monitor so having tabs on the side doesn't take away anything but whitespace. And it's definitely easier to keep track of tabs this way.

Anon makes a good point about taking advantage of horizontal real estate with vertical, but I have been keeping my browser window pretty thin for a long time (on a 4K).Maybe I should give it a shot anyway. Tab groups does seem like a good idea if it's ergonomic enough. For Firefox it requires a plugin, right? Or is there a dev option?
only on ultrawides. but then again, I almost exclusively use my browser on half my main monitor instead of the full thing.
Horizontal tabs only make sense on a 4:3 screen.
Vertical are more usable but it encourages tab debt. You'll end up with 1k tabs you never click on again.
