I have been researching headphones for a while right now. I have a very wide head, so most headphones do not fit me properly. For instance, I have Sony CH-720n's, and they are very tight on me at max capacity, and I have a severe tension headache after a while of usage. I tried stretching them out for a few weeks and it didn't do much. The only headphones that do fit me are the Hyperx Cloud Stinger's. I think this is because of their unique shape. The headband itself is very wide (at full extension, I can fit in the Sony CH-720n's in it).

I would ideally like a pair of wide headphones under $200, closed back (have a roommate), wireless, and is usable for 10+ hours a day.
I took a look at the Bose Quietcomfort 35 ii's, and I found a video comparing them to the Sony CH-720n's. I found that the headphones are pretty much identical in size, so I don't think they'd fit my head too well. It kind of depends on how the adjustments on them are.

have you tried the steelseries headsets? Their headband is somewhat unique, I find it much comfier than headsets like the one you pictured because it conforms to your head

I had an artix something maybe 8 years back, but I found my ears getting hot after a while of usage. I was also a teenager when I had them and I've since grown a good bit

The hunt for a good pair of headphones isn't an easy one. Doesn't matter where you look or what price tag you're fine with. Most of them have shitty sound quality or design flaws...even though it's 2025. There's models from over a decade ago that beats many of the newer ones. Crazy how that works.

As a wide head enjoyer I just use IEMs. You can bend the headband outwards on headphones with metal headbands, but that's what I do to make Audeze headphones fit. For something like Sennheiser I'd have to snap them in half.
