Would it be possible to dual-boot on a locked bootloader on android? Have one partition run a custom ROM and the other one run stock android such that we can install unverified apps on the custom rom but still have access to stock android for banking apps, etc.

Of course not.

Google is killing custom roms. It is dropping ASOP program.

Just buy Huawei phone. It's without the "Google" but still can run f-droid apps.

When I woke up today, I said to myself "What we need is even more threads on the google sideloading thing"

Nope.

you'll still be able to "sideload" apps (why an itoddler term is being used on android suggests to me these hack journalists spend too much time snorting cocaine out of the ass cracks of underage boys), you'll need ID to get signed so playstore protect can approve of it. meanwhile in reality, people have that shit disabled and can still install anything they like.

>google is killing custom roms
>that are built on open source software
>that's available to anyone
>that google also use
what's it like being a technologically challenged chimpanzee?

>To balance AOSP’s open nature with its product development strategy, Google maintains two primary Android branches: the public AOSP branch and its internal development branch. The AOSP branch is accessible to anyone, while Google’s internal branch is restricted to companies with a Google Mobile Services (GMS) licensing agreement.
i love how you link to things but you're so fucking stupid that you didn't even bother to read any of it. get back into that half oil drum boat of yours and row back up your designated shitting street.

Will only work for a while
Huawei has already moved on to Harmony OS NEXT which drops the android ecosystem completely
>>
>>106429692
can't you just disable Play Services during the installation of a non-kosher app?
>>
This would be an excellent time for Tesla to actually market something useful and release a non-bs, competitive open architecture phone. It would outsell everything else.
