How can people stand to do without a DPI toggle? Are they mentally deficient?
Sounds more schizo that you think everyone else should do what YOU think is better
>>106433203Tell me about your sad world where having more options would ever be WORSE than having fewer?
>>106433194>accidentally press button>mouse slow>try to remember if its 4 or 5 clicks to get back to good speed>try 4>its good>try 5>fuck its slow again
>how can people stand to do without something that fucks with your muscle memory and has no realistic use caseI wonder...
>>106433231Jesus Christ you went from "why don't they do what I do" to "why do you want less stuff for me" real quick, did you took your meds today anon?Because no one said having more options was worse.
>>106433194You mean that thing I adjusted the day I bought my mouse and never touched again?
>>106433262>I think it’s better to have a toggle buttonWhy do you think a lack of configurability would be better. Answer.
>>106433245Have you considered not having some degenerative disease that causes you to mash random buttons uncontrollably?
>>106433283>Why do you think a lack of configurabilityHoly shit where in the fuck do I ever said that?Because the point is mocking a schizo that think others should do what he says.It is peak mental illness.
I despise the DPI button on my mouse, I wish I could remap it to something else. It's crazy that we're still living with the fucking 5 button mouse spec in 2025, if Windows wasn't bloated jeetware we'd have mouse20 by now. Why do I want 20 buttons on my mouse? Why not, you fucking homo.
>>106433318Button is configurable. You don’t like button. It thus gullies you don’t like configurability. QED.
>>106433245They always put it in the most inconvenient spot possible
>>106433231I prefer having this button lock/unlock the free spinning the scrollwheel.
>>106433245>>106433252>>106433717what are you people even doing? is it some zoomerism to just slap the mouse like a bongo instead of holding it normally or something?>>106433761it shouldn't spin unless your finger is spinning it, your mouse is probably broken
>>106433194I've never felt the desire to change dpi. I do have profile changes where it changes the functions of buttons. But DPI stays the same.
>>106433790What's the hybrid between fingertip and palm?
>>106433194I only really started using it when I switched to a trackball, they're completely useless for regular mice.
>>106433194That's the double click button.
>>106433905Palmgertip.
>>106433921You're better off just using rawaccel.
Oh that's what that button does. Thanks bud.
>>106433194Little to no usecase, and if it's not rebindable to whatever you want then the mouse is absolute dogshit.Although it usually is. My mouse has 8 extra buttons, and none of them are set to toggle DPI, because I don't fucking need it.
>>106434088Digital art vs internet browsing vs gamingCould go into the mouse settings and twiddle with it each time, or I can just click the handy dandy button
>>106433194use case?
>>106434125>Digital artWith a mouse?>gamingJust adjust the in-game sensitivity.>no I NEED my raw low dpi inputOkay, that's one usecase which most people don't have.
>>106434471>>Digital art>With a mouse?yea, not really a crazy concept
How can people stand to do without mouse acceleration ON? Are they mentally deficient?
>DPI toggleUse case?Serious question. I don't mind the feature, I'm sure some folks will prefer different DPI settings from me, but then I just leave it on the 1200 setting at all times.
>>106433194I remapped it to mute my PC sound.Maybe not the most useful feature but I can't think of anything else to map it to. I don't have any need to change my DPI on the fly.
>>106433194I just run my mouse at 600dpi, no acceleration.
>>106433905You're not powerful enough to try that technique
>>106433194The only reason to require it on a mouse is for a trackball for tasks that require high precision. If you need a high precision mode on a regular mouse, you need to stop being a fucking spazzy faggot.
