Should I get GPD WIN Mini 2025 or GPD MicroPC 2? WIN Mini is only 200€ more and has a bigger battery and better specs but has a worse keyboard.

I dont like that they made the micropc 2 7 inches. It doesn't fit in my apron anymore. But other than that it depends on whether you need joysticks or nor and the better specs. Are there any battery life tests of the micropc 2 out already?

can we kill this retard?
>>
>>106434675
You can try. But I'm not going to let that happen.
>>
>>106434669
win mini has 44 wh battery but micropc has 27 wh
micropc gets ~4 hours of battery life with light usage while win mini gets 6 ~hours
>>
>>106434669
I will use it for programing on the go which one should I get?
>>
>>106434949
You don't program shit Eli you will use your time begging like a bitch until some retard feeds you code that you will claim as your own after.
>>
>>106434927
Damn that's a shame. Was hoping for more than that. Though one could argue for how long you would actually use this device in a day.
>>106434949
I mean if it has to be this small there aren't really many alternatives. I think it is too expensive though, maybe see if you can find a used one from a displeased day one buyer. Works well with niche devices like this.

Axiomatically, more bulk = more weight.

3 lbs doesn't allow for a lot of bulk, if any. You're just weak.

Disorders are usually diagnosed or assessed by a mental health professional, such as a clinical psychologist, psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse, or clinical social worker, using various methods such as psychometric tests, but often relying on observation and questioning.

Someone please be brutally honest with me about the GPD Pocket 4. I read the specs and it literally seems like a dream device - what’s the catch? Does the battery last for a reasonable amount of time? Is it comfortable to type on while handheld? The expansion module system seems pretty cool - is it standardised and how hard would it be to make a DIY 5G module for example?
>>
>>106448256
idk if it was my luck but i can't use the sleep mode function built in and it's too large for so I can't comfortably type with both hands (it IS doable just not comfortable) and also the sleep issue is actually much larger but since im a technologlet I have no clue what it is but I also can't update my graphics driver since screen flicking gives me BSOD (if I ever want to update drivers I have to make custom w11 ISO's with the drivers there which is annoying since I'd rather just use AMD's radeon software)
it's also a gimmick, it's too large so I need a desk to work with it but it's too small to be comfortable when doing lots of work
To be honest, if you really need to scratch that UMPC itch just get a pocket 3. I'm tempted to get the micropc 2 just to see if I can finally have a comfortable laptop for typing with both thumbs but all the issues my pocket 4 has really makes me skeptical about early buying
>>
>>106448284
also kill the maid faggot ffs discussing umpc's is aggravating with him around
>>
>>106448284
oh yeah bottom line is don't do it anon get a pocket 3 if you want the tiny form factor or wait till the micropc2 is usable
>>
>>106448284
>>106448332
I could’ve seen myself using the KVM and Cellular modules on the Pocket 4 to death, but not being able to comfortably use it without a table and easily fit it in a coat pocket kinda defeats the point of an ultra-portable in my opinion (I mind the bulk and difficulty of quick access of my
laptop moreso that its weight, although it is on the heavy side).
Unfortunately, MicroPC’s screen is 60Hz and as far as I could see not easily upgradable, which is a total deal-breaker for me - years of using a 240Hz display have spoiled me way too regarding refresh rate.
I’m disappointed that I still haven’t found my portable PC yet, but you have convinced me not to rush into buying this one. Thank you.
>>
>>106448544
No problem anon.
Many anons tried to talk me out of buying the pocket 4 but i ignored them and just threw $1500 for one. It's not the worse purchase of the world, but man, I often think I'd be happier with one of those later gen thinkpads since the small form factor is useless

>>106449995
I guess I failed to even consider the Win Mini because it’s marketed towards gamers…
The pointing device and keyboard would definitely be more inconvenient to use as compared to the MicroPC, as it has to move them out of the way and make them smaller to fit the joysticks - although it is more capable and even seems to have better battery life. The lack of a fingerprint scanner is unfortunate but not that big of a deal, however it also sacrifices tablet mode and stylus support. None of these are too big of a deal on their own, but it’s annoying to miss out on those features because of the built-in gamepad I don’t even plan on using. Although Win Mini has a 4G extension module, which I appreciate the utility of.
Are you aware of any other brands making good handheld PCs? The niche is kind of difficult to research as not many people are interested, the main ones I know of are ClockworkPi but their devices seem underpowered.

>>106448891
Your hunch is probably correct, I currently daily drive a laptop and the only thing I dislike about it is that I can’t pocket it or use it without a table. The Pocket 4 is just large enough to where the main advantage it has over a laptop is that you can carry it without a backpack, which is honestly not THAT big of a deal.

Steamdeck is unrionically very comfy to use for general browsing when you set up the dpad, triggers and buttons for things like snapping/closing windows, back and forward etc. Keyboard with touchpads is just meh but you can use a wireless one.
