If you hate Youtube so much then just use Peertube (open source alternative) and stop the vicious circle of bitching in Youtube about how crap and invasive Youtube is while giving more views and monopoly to Youtube by keeping the bitching in Youtube.
I'm not on youtube because I love it as a platform, I'm there because that's the ONLY place with enough content to provide a quality experience.Users and the creators exist in a synergy, as in there is absolutely no point in migrating either without the other. Users won't switch without creators and creators won't switch without users AND most importantly: financial incentive. Only when all of those conditions are met will it be worth it for anyone to switch.Saying that peertube is P2P Youtube is inaccurate. It is P2P Vimeo at best.Now try to explain again why anyone should realistically switch to peertube right now.
