LTS channel is not mainstream and most of the software for windows does not support it, it also lacks basic pre-installed applications and codecs that most apps expect you to have on windows and could work poorly or not at all without them. It's some sort of frankenstein build where you use a LTS release that's intended to be used without any third party apps on it beyond special case apps like ATM software, so it remain stable and reliable, but if you turn it into a frankenstein with outdated kernel, no codecs, lack of basic ms apps and features and then try to use third party apps made for latest release of windows home, then you end up with a fucked up OS. What's the case for use?
