I've bought hardware to build a new pc, but just haven't gotten around to it since I can just use my laptop for everything instead.
Did I mention that I bought the hardware three years ago? It's almost obsolete now.

same, built a new high end PC a few years ago but still keep my old 8700 shitbox around(and I actually upgraded it as well despite there being 0 actual necessity)

me. my main PC is Ryzen 9 7950X3D with a RTX 4090 and 64GB but I rarely turn it on, I'm still using my old i7-3770k with a 1080ti only because its got all my software installed and is in a comfier place in my home
