RMS is a bullshitter in that he will not defend the GPL in court anymore. He comes up with excuses not to sue Grsecurity over the GCC plugins. He comes up with excuses not to help Linux programmers sue Grsecurity.

You can always do a joint action, you can always also legally help the bills of someone else suing. You don't have to "own" all the software to help lawsuits. And even when the FSF does own the copyrights (GCC), he comes up with reasons not to sue.

So they say "we need the copyrights to have standing to sue", you hand them over, they then do not sue or defend the copyrights at all.

They actually want the copyrights because a copyright holder can rescind the license from any free-taker on earth at his own will. They don't tell you that though.
