The thing about Rust is that you're not dealing with just another pointless C-like language nobody asked for; You're dealing with a new paradigm altogether, and some people simply aren't going to rewire their heads (or rewrite code) for any potential benefits, which are real and tangible as far as I'm concerned. Also the troon thing doesn't help either.Me personally, I'm dying a crusty ole' cnile because I actually enjoy doing memory management by hand and having control over every inch of my program (not programming for a living anymore so I can afford the time).New Rust projects make real good sense.
