Why does the rust crap look exactly like C but more mind bending?

>Here is NEW THING
>It's like OLD THING, but the compiler takes 8 gb of ram to compile itself, so no compiling on old computers!
>Also we don't have to talk about Richard Matthew Stallman anymore:
>Did you know RMS dissed a Woman and hated them in the 80s?
>He also wants to fuck and dominate cute little girls.
>Men should have their dicks sawn off like Jesus says (matthew 19 greek!) , anyone that looks at a woman should have their eyes gouged out! Don't stone woman
>RMS is a JEW and won't agree to Jesus' demands.

You can always tell its a thread by a nocoder when the entire substance of his argument is:
> le 8 GB ram xD
> le woman xD
> le old good new bad xD
Not a single technical argument for or against anything, all shitposting.

More like little boys actually.

The thing about Rust is that you're not dealing with just another pointless C-like language nobody asked for; You're dealing with a new paradigm altogether, and some people simply aren't going to rewire their heads (or rewrite code) for any potential benefits, which are real and tangible as far as I'm concerned. Also the troon thing doesn't help either.

Me personally, I'm dying a crusty ole' cnile because I actually enjoy doing memory management by hand and having control over every inch of my program (not programming for a living anymore so I can afford the time).

New Rust projects make real good sense. Refactorings, not so much.

>New Rust projects make real good sense.
But Rust evangelist who appears to nevee have touched C, this arguably does not hold for most projects.
And why do you appear to call rewrites, ports, etc. for "refactorings"? Are you low-IQ? And one example of rewriting it not in Rust: https://github.com/microsoft/typescript-go/discussions/411#discussioncomment-12465048

It's the other way around. The strictness of Rust makes it a real pain to refactor and do exploratory coding and change the design as needs change or more details are discovered.
Once you have an establish program with a working design, you can rewrite it in Rust.
Of course, that only works for trivially small programs. That's why it's only worth using for drivers.

I'm not a nocoder. I've been programming since 2001 when I was 13.

Megabytes of source code.

I'm a coder an rust looks so ugly. There's no need for a non-GC lang in most cases anyway. Troons trying to build GUIs and web logic in Rust need to kill themselves. Rust is only needed for OS game engine and web browser, none of which it is actually used for today.

If you remove all the vendored Rust code, does Rust's share go from 12.3% to perhaps 1.5% ?

He eventually pleaded no contest to two counts of sexual battery on a child under 12 while he was under 18. His defense attorney asked for less than a year in the county jail. The prosecutor asked for 15 years in state prison.

Why should vendored code, that is not specific to Firefox, be included in a statistic of what code is included in Firefox?

That isn't my account. I sent DMCA requests to bitbucket, some other one, and github to get that fake account removed. The 2 others obeyed. Microsoft did not.

I oppose codes of conduct and my projects have always been on sourceforge since 2003.
