>Chrome doesn't allow unsafe-eval in extensions for security reasons
why does google HATE extensions so much?
>>
Why should they allow unsafe-eval?
>>
>>106446595
Why should they restrict it? I need to run python code, not javashit
>>
>>106446135
because it potentially introduces ways to circumvent their profit making schemes such as ad blockers and youtube mods, and shareholders wouldn't be happy.

With every change they get another step closer to turning your computer into a locked-down phone.
That’s all they think about all day.
Do you think google stole webkit from apple out of the goodness of their hearts? They’re not a technology company.

>unsafe-eval
Use case?

(((shareholders)))

Google hate anything affecting profits. They are on a war path with everything.
Mark my work sponsored content on youtube is the next big thing. Content creators will have to pick the sponsors from a dashboard vetted by youtube and google will pocket 30% of the profits. Refusing to comply and the channel will be nuked.
