I"m mega autismic when it comes to applying screen protectors.
I only apply them in a cleaned bathroom (to remove most dust particles) after running the shower for 5 minutes, as the humidity helps bind airborne dust.
I remove all towels and other fabrics from the room, hop under the shower to clean myself from particles that might get on the screen.
I then put on a face mask, clean the screen, wash my hands, air dry them (no towels) and tilt the screen against a bright light source from various angles, to make any remaining individual specks of dust visible, before applying the screen protector.

Its quite the chore, but my screens usually come out perfect.

I've been using rooted android with fdroid for ages, but I know very little about phones. With this google shit happening, there's no way I'm paying google for a phone to install graphene on it, that's ludicrous.

Overall I'm kinda happy but there are still many things Android does better than ios (like the fucking back button, I'm not a fan of gesture and I like the 3 action button bottom bar on android)
Biggest downsides coming from an Xperia 10 vi to an iPhone 16 are:
- The battery
- The ability to sideload more than 3 apps (thankfully I only use Youtube and Youtube music)
- Poweramp equalizer not being present
- Ability to choose what notifications an app can display (like the news notification from an app or like the download symbol from a browser, here it's easier all notifications for the app on or off, you can't choose what type of notification an app can display)
- The keyboard kinda sucks and gboard isn't as customizable on ios than android
- I have no idea how to transfer files from my pc to my phone other than using iCloud then downloading them on my phone or using google drive
- Screen doesn't seem as good as my Xperia, the white are a bit too yellowish for my taste (or perhaps my Xperia screen was too blue?)
So far so good I'm enjoying ios

Yeah the keyboard layout feels weird to me, way to used to gboard also I feel like it's quite laggy and not immediately responsive (perhaps that's the 60hz display making me feel that? It was the same on my Xperia 10 VI but not on my Xperia 5 III)
