T540 on a dock
Mint loonix, latest stable whatever
Doesn't recognize screen when dock is reconnected, only connects the first time it's docked.
Is this perchance a common problem that has been solved 13 years ago?

Same thing happens with my X200. I don't think there's a solution other than rebooting.

You did help me in a way.
Got me thinking why not just restart the monitor instead of reboot the whole thing.
>xrandr --output eDP-1-2 --off
>xrandr --output eDP-1-2 --left-of eDP-1 --auto
>check names with xrandr --listmonitors
Dick around with udev and make it trigger this on dock.

I got my C13. First impressions are good. aluminum shell and lid, feels very solid. Display is gorgeous (from my limited experience).

Loading the modified coreboot CFW from MrChromebox/Chrultrabook project was simple. Put Debian 13 with KDE on there. It's a Ryzen 3700C w/16GB RAM and 256GB Nvme.

Audio setup had a minor hitch. Short version, had to symlink a config file that gets installed to the wrong folder.

The Chromebook keyboard is a little odd, but I can adjust. There's another script in the chrultrabook documentation to get F1-11 keys on the top row instead of the Chromebook function keys.

Haven't fooled with screen rotation/pen input yet but it's next on my testing list after I install a few creature comforts and configure the DE behavior.

Very, very close in size to my old X230, and smaller than the salvaged L390Y I fixed and will eventually pass on to somebody else.

(X230 top in stack, C13 under that, L390Y bottom)

Only if you needs that extra performance. The "buying 3+ years old Thinkpad" meta gives more bang for your bucks.
