my keys randomly start acting as if they're failing but after a couple days they work just fine
I have a few year old HyperX Alloy Origins.

bad news, its not your keyboard thats failing but its your motherboards USB port.
try another port, if that fails then it could be your power supply so swap that.
and if THAT fails then its get a new motherboard time.
