Will it ever come back?Or is it terminally over?
>>106452140The US government literally will not let Intel fail, it's a national security issue. It's a great stock buy, the lower the better. You are legit pants on head retarded if you think Intel will ever go under.
>>106452140this is just like when AMD had the FX series. Intel will be back in like 5-7 years. and everyone will be talking about how shit AMD is
>>106452834She looks pretty excited to be holding up a turd.
>>106452834Anytime the US government gets as involved as they just have with Intel it's usually the death knell of a company. Why does US rail suck? Amtrak, which was made by the government.Intel may continue to exist but they can always get less efficient and suck more and more at what they do. Just imagine another democrat like the last 2 presidents we had get back into power and mandate stricter diversity requirements like they like to do. And they will have to do it now if they want to continue to get bailed out. If amd changes ISC it could finally spell the end of x86.
>>106452914>Why does US rail suck? Amtrak, which was made by the government.US freight rail is among the best in the world, and US passenger rail sucks because we don't want it to be easy for broke niggers to move around the country. Basically the US prioritized freight rail over passenger rail, the opposite of how the euros did it.Also passenger rail is dumb in a world where airplanes exist.
>>106452834None of that means buying Intel stocks is smart. They might come up with a plan where they force split the foundry services from the rest, in which case your stocks will still be shit.
>>106452927>US freight rail is among the best in the worldCope>and US passenger rail sucks because we don't want it to be easy for broke niggers to move around the country.t. Never heard of greyhound>Basically the US prioritized freight rail over passenger rail, the opposite of how the euros did it.Prioritizing one industry over the other doesn't preclude the other industry from being halfway decent. It's the new government acquired management and expectations that the company will always be bailed out that makes the company start to suck. There's other instances as well. The US postal service has always sucked. They had to get the government to shut down competition due to its unique enforced monopoly since it's inception. And FedEx and UPS can do what they do way more efficiently.Amtrak has pretty much always sucked. Theyre often late, the only thing it has over flying is it doesn't have TSA.It's why communism has always failed. Markets are meant for inefficient companies to die.
>>106452914Would you say Intel is GM when it was in trouble?
>>106453042I agree the government should stop propping up amtrak, however you are still wrong and all of Intels asian competitors get massive help from their respective governments as well.
>>106453174GM the government got rid of the shares quickly. Within 5 years they were sold back on the open market or to GM themselves. This current government seems to intend to own these shares indefinitely. Maybe they can make a deal to buy it back, but if Intel gets worse, they will want more cash and more bailouts. >>106453197>I agree with you but you're still wrong Ok, snowflake.>But Asia does itIf you want to live like the Chinese, move to China. Same for Taiwan. This is the US. We used to celebrate efficiency. The dude that started TSMC used to work for Texas instruments, he could have made Texas instruments as good as TSMC if he wasn't passed over for CEO role. Taiwan gave him the chance to make the best semiconductor fab in the world while Texas instruments makes barely 1/3 of the revenue our struggling Intel now makes.
