Ask, and it shall be given to you.
>>
The logo is really old and too iconic to change. Also no one really cares about le fat guy arch Linux meme. Arch is about having a very fast package manager with as-close-to-vanilla-as-possible packaging, unlike Debian and Fedora which introduce opinionated patches.

It's like Gentoo... But with a big shit repo for retards like me

pacman is laughably slow though.
>>
>>106454655
Let's be honest here for a second, I'm not attacking Arch, but Arch is a hobby distro, i.e. for people who
1) want to learn about linux/operating systems/computers etc.
or
2) have nothing else to do all day than be on their computer
That's why nobody who actually does any serious work on their computer will ever use it. Those people are all on Ubuntu or Fedora

Is the arch user too retarded to understand how his package manager is dogshit compared to literally anything else in the market really talking about other people's job prospects?
Also
>arch user
>cant stop talking about food
lmao go fix your xorg config

nta but what? tell me you've never used dnf without saying you've never used dnf
the only package manager better than pacman is apk

thats a real pic of john "archie" wojak, the creator of arch linux or as he likes to call it arch+linux
>>
>>106454450
It's not forced. I saw a head and shoulders in the logo before I'd ever seen it being memed
>>
>>106454865
You are correct but all Arch really teaches you is how to copy paste into the terminal. It just gives low iq users the sensation of doing something technical.
>>
>>106454399
They weren't

debian's apt is good
>>
>>106456382
Do you not learn when you read text or write said text somewhere? Does the cause and effect connected to the text pass you by like it didn't happen?

How would you learn how Linux works if not by tinkering with it. Read a book and ponder it's concepts? Imagine if you were talking to an electrical engineer that didn't tear apart toasters and do other dumb shit in their free time. They'd be painfully mediocre.
>>
>>106454399
probably "im very happy that i get to do something i enjoy" followed by "oh boy i'm looking forward to the weekend" or something.
why?

They were thinking of filtering you.

Copy/pasting commands with times that you partially memorise them is an extremely superficial definition of learning. Your analogy to an electrical engineer would be more akin to installing LFS, not Arch.
