I'm a software engineer (I have a Claude max subscription). So I get first and honestly only dibs on all the tech we discard at the company. From servers to laptops to entire storage bays with hundreds of terabytes of sas drives. I have some amazing equipment but I'm running out of room. Some of these things, like the power edges or optiplex t7910s, etc, are really heavy. I can't ship on eBay without just charging way more than is reasonable. I've put it up on facebook, but I'm in ohio, there's only so many nerds to sell to. I'm not really looking for profit. On my old gear like an MSI GODLIKE X570s (i really loved this mobo), I'd like to break even for what I paid for it, but even that's negotiable. I don't want to just give away for free. A bunch of fags who won't appreciate will just snatch it up. And a little money to buy more things is nice. Any advice anons? Any better sites for local sales?

It's not that I don't give coworkers dibs. They all just want very few things. So I'm defacto the only one. In fact, this last round, I put everything in an open box for the whole company to go through a lot of the gear, but no one was really interested. It's not like just anyone is going to feel the need to take a server home. Their big and heavy. A yard sale would be even more work and harder to advertise desu.

if you really just want to get rid of everything fast then lookup how to sell bulk IT equipment. your biggest problem with selling to nerds is for sure the fact that you are in ohio and there probably isn't much you could do to seriously speed things up

Yeah I had one or two African resellers reach out. I guess they take it and send it back to Africa. They came by once and wanted everything upgraded to windows 11 though, after doing that he juat never came back.
