Youtube programming tutorials are Satan's creation. I spent few hours watching Sebastian Lague's and even though he might be the best resource on the shitube. These video tutorials make me fucking miserable. > Pretty hipped starting a new project> Looking for stuff online etc.> More hipped > Stumble upon Lagues's tutorials> "Gee why not? I'm gonna learn way more watching that then doing things by myself!"> 2 days in "what the fuck am I doing with my life"> Motivation goneFucking vampires. You have your imagination, ideas how you are gonna do the stuff you want to do. Then you start the video and your fantasy is slowly crushed after you settle for their creative decisions and not yours. And you realize you are stuck doing shit you didn't even want to do just because they have done it.Any advice guys? How do you work on your projects? Whats the best approach? Help a newbie out pls.

I could never spend hours watching coding videos. I just skip around for the relevant part and leave. Worst is if it's an Indian talking in some shitty mic and you can barely skip around bc you don't know what the fuck he's doing.
>Aaaaaand it's yet another bait thread about why you should hate le boogeyman.
>>106455201>>106455216Buy a coding reference book. That's all you need.
Just read the docs. Every single one or those YouTube "teachers" is a midwit.
>>106455230Yup. Fucking read, you kike.
>>106455228no >>106455250>>106455230>>106455304I'm not afraid to read but I afraid Im not gonna find the things I don't know. The unknown unknowns if we understand each other. But I guess I'll look into the reference book
I think the recent meta for newbies should be>Create a basic project in a new language or tech or whatever>If you get stuck on implementation, ask chatgpt>Try to use the same solution in a different way without referencing chatgpt
>>106455230The reference book allows you to expand to a new language. It doesn't teach you C++ or Python. That still requires a lot of mudding about to learn the train of thought of construction and planning
