I hate how things are implicit rather than explicit. Feels more like gluing components together than actually programming. It abstracts a bunch of shit for you which is ok, but often if you want to change the behaviour of some of those abstractions the correct incantation that properly configures the component is borderline unfindable for any component that's not Spring Web or Spring Data because the documentation for the smaller/more niche components is shit. Even LLMs aren't that useful here as they make shit up all the time.
