Very much prefer the tactility (thanks to the Taptic Engine), sound and visual aesthetic of setting up an alarm on iOS with a modern iPhone. It's just unrivaled. The Taptic Engine just adds so much to the experience, it really feels just like a real wristwatch with each click.
That said, you can just post Android's granular volume control screen. iOS only has sound on for everything or sound off for everything lol. Takes time to get used (cope) to.

My primary app has a sequence of two radial inputs, first for hour (two concentric rings covering 24 hours) then for minute. You can input any time in two taps.My secondary (stock) app has a digital display with two dials - like a suitcase combination lock - each of which you can slide or tap on to instead open a numpad. It is at least smart enough to feed from hour numpad directly to minute numpad, but that's still 4-6 taps to input a time. And if you think "well I'm only changing the hour by one or two and that's visible to select on the rotary in one tap," do so and then immediately hit the minutes to type in, your hour input gets dropped (it apparently has an animation). Why is the UX field full of total retards? Even without predictive behaviors designed for the average moron that instead get in the way of the power user, it's just full of patently bad decisions.
