Heat spreaders/heatsinks are basically unnecessary for nvme drives anyways. If it's in a desktop and not smashed against the GPU it will have more than enough cooling. The only place they benefit from a heatspreader or heatsink of sorts is a laptop

cute kitasDors anyone have a nm790 without a heatsink? I bought two of them but they're underneath my gpus, so I got some strips of metal for them. But the controller isn't as tall as the memory, so in order for the pad to contact it, the whole pcb bends by a degree or two.
