Why dont 80% keyboards have 14 F keys? So much wasted space in the F row

why not just remap print/scroll/pause to be f14/15/16? even my /csg/ NT75 supports remapping any key you want

Because I consistently use those keys. I guess I can remap them on the Fn layer. But my point still stands, there is a waste of space in the F row that serves no purpose.

they're grouped apart like that so you can identify them easily without looking at the keyboard
