5700X3Dxisters our response???
It hasn't been long enough to care about CPU performance again. I always have idle threads. Try again next year.

5900x or go home
best value. I don't need an integrated GPU
>>106474718Sandy Bridge v2 but from AMD
>>106475859>best value. I don't need an integrated GPUIt's literally the same silicon though, so the iGPU is still there, just fused off. It's like having a dead twin still fused to your body in the womb.
>>106474718Its normal tech progression for newer low end products to match prior gen higher end products. The 5700x3d was a great final upgrade for any gamers on socket AM4 last year when you could get them for cheap, but anyone buying now would be better off going with a socket AM5 system.
>>106474748Modern GPUs are so crazy fast that having CPUs keep up is tough. Even in "light" e-sports titles where the GPU is basically idling, going from an 7800x3d to an 9800x3d is noticable. Then there's general CPU bound stuff and single threaded performance in stuff outside of gaming, and the fact that AMD is actually pushing to make their chips have more potential to be squeezed out. I managed to get permanent all clock turbo that's meant to be one core by simply undervolting.
At this point you just wait for next genThey're increasing the size of CCDs to 12 cores
>>106478801you say that but in reality we've only gotten zen5% since
>>106480693Yeah sure if you don't look at benchmarks of x3d chips. Keep coping, brokie.
>>106474718How do I install this in my AM4 motherboard?
