What's the deal with monitor prices? Why do some monitors have the exact same specs, but are hundreds of dollars different in price?

Is there some sort of catch with the cheaper ones where some obscure component sucks balls or something?

screens are all manufactured with some amount defects

they rate the screens from F to A as they are produced

you're buying a F tier screen that was rejected by the manufacturer and sold in bulk to Chingchongnipnog LLC to put some gaymur branding on and resell to idiots

exact same on the surface of they metrics that they disclose but they have different panels and the cheap ones are shit in many other ways
