>>106489063What would you suggest to that reddit OP? Genuinely curious, I'm noob.
lollmao, even/g/ is overrun with shitposting. Of course it sucks. Reddit also sucks, but it is so big, there is a far higher amount of folks that aren't shitposting. Not proportionately, it is simply because the site gets far more people, otherwise it would be as bad as this place. Reddit also has more shitposting because, again, the site is far larger.
>>106489492Yea but the average IQ is higher on reddit, everyone uses an account as well therefore you can filter out retards permanently. It's impossible to do this here.
>>106489051of course, reddit is flooded with normies who actually have jobs in the tech field. meanwhile 4chan is flooded with jobless trannies and tech illiterate larpers.
>>106489051Name one instance of this being true
>reaching out to /g/ for a tech advice
tech advice does not belong on /g/ in the first place
>site has tech advice sometimes>that makes it better than a board that has been encouraged and allowed to turn into schizophrenics circlejerking and screeching about politics that also disallows tech support discussion because that's too much TECHNOLOGY for the TECHNOLOGY boardwhat a revelation
It's the same. On both, you have to scroll through lots of retarded shit to find anything valuable or useful. At least here it's different every time, but on reddit it's just the exact same jokes and references every single fucking time getting pushed to the top.
>>106492151thats why we come, for the novelty. those sites are used for the dopamine karma. when i used that shit i would incessantly care about looking at it "did people agree with me?" to the point where i'd block it with css. fuck that. i just stopped using it.
