does anyone else sense that technology has completely stagnated and that we will not see any real advancement at least in our lifetimes?probably a good thing in the grand scheme of things but it just feels weird now how we were so used to change year by year and now all of a sudden we're going to have almost no change at all going forward.
Technology was created by autistic shutins who wanted to pioneer humanity so they can fuck cat girls. Ever since normies took over, it's all about data extraction, mining, and selling to advertises so they create generic applications that appeal to the lowest common denominator. The cause? smart phones, steve jobs (thank god he's dead), and the corporatization of the internet.
There will be change, software will get even worse
>>106498912The science required to build computers is from the 1920s.x86 is from the 70s the only things that aren't from the early 1900s are routing theory and compiler theory but that's applied graph theory from the 1700s not actually science.AI is compiler theory hybridized with a branch of graph theory (the good ones anyways). The rest is all improvements in manufacturing and retards paying 4x the price for a computer that's 5% faster than something from 10 years ago.Yes, tech is stagnate as fuck the only improvement, again, is manufacturing.

Yes. Tech isn't going to improve unless we get away from computer hardware and software. Everything now is pretty much solved. You have a processor and a monitor and some way to interact with it. Cool.We need new ways to process information without computers. We can only make faster computers, but there has to be a step after that.
>>106498912We are literally living through one of the greatest technological revolutions in the history of humanity (the birth of AI), right after having lived through another (the rise of the Internet), how fucking spoiled can you be
You can-make a perfect filament extruder-the best riced desktop-the best kigurumi mask-the best knife-a model rocketBut not without giving up 3 years. You might as well if you're a neet.Or in my case something more delusional.Do that and the many may(should) come.Think if it this way if you got into a car accident would there be someone to replace you the next day. Probably.
Why does everything feel so slow and bloated now all over the internet, in every OS/distro, program, browser, game, website etc..? I have this feeling of total claustrophobia from it and i hate it.I miss things when they were quick, simple and user friendly.
>>106499060lol i know you're trolling but people actually believe this.
>>106498994okay i get your point but, didnt yo ufeel in your timeline that always is there some new shit?
>>106499112The 2010’s were a long nothing burger. No China wont make the coombots the way you think. Because of liability reasons but also cause your expectations are too high.
>>106499159Well unitree is good but they wont turn it into a sex bot.
>>106498912Computing is a solved problem and has been since 2007. They're literally going in circles, trying to find the next big thing and they don't find it because there's nothing else to do in tech.Quantum? NothingburgerVR? Who gives a shitCrypto? PonziWeb3? Who gives a shit
