Please somebody help, I have around 50 websites made with Wordpress over the years and they keep getting hacked! Does it even exists a better alternatives? My idea was to literally write them from scratch in Laravel.

I update them but, the vector of attack are broken plugins, or even worse broken themes.

There are some website that are made to look a certain way and I cannot change them without breaking them and they would use like 7 years old theme that are un-updatable.

Huh, I had seen quite a few Wordpress sites get hacked before, but I had no idea about the causes. Thanks for the info. I don't know if there's any way to fix it though if you can't change the themes.
