Arch Linux obviously. Distrohopping isn't even real, just something new users do because they don't understand you can just change your DE (or anything else). The "real" choice is between Debian, Fedora, and Arch. Arch being the endgame once you realize how distros and Linux work.

Debian. I used Arch and Artix for some time, but it got annoying having to check an RSS feed every time I updated to make sure I wouldn't brick something. I realized the latest and greatest stuff didn't really matter and if it did, it could just go in a VM or container.

Distro hopping is pointless between the major distros desu, all of em do basically the same thing. I use arch because I like AUR more than copr or ppa, and I find pacman to be a slightly better package manager than the rest but basically everything else is the same between distros. >windowsspys on you plus windows 11 is absolute garbage>macfine for regular people, but silos you off with software that can't be used between ecosystems, which is annoying/inconvenient.
